2024 Nissan Sentra

Issue:
On certain vehicles, air bubbles could appear in the lower-left area of the windshield glass. As a result, the vehicle identification number (VIN) may be difficult to see through the glass.

Safety Risk:
This problem could cause confusion when trying to identify the vehicle using the VIN.

Corrective Actions:
Nissan will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the windshield.

Issue:
On certain vehicles, the left-front axle shaft may not have been installed properly. As a result, the axle shaft could separate from the transmission and cause a sudden loss of power to the wheels. Additionally, if the vehicle is parked and the parking brake isn't applied, the vehicle could roll away.

Safety Risk:
An unexpected loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. A parked vehicle that moves suddenly could create a risk of a crash or an injury.

Corrective Actions:
Nissan will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the left-front axle shaft and the transmission.

Issue:
On certain vehicles, the driver-front airbag may not have been manufactured properly. Over time, moisture could enter the inflator and cause it not to inflate properly in a crash.

Safety Risk:
An airbag that doesn't inflate properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash.

Corrective Actions:
Nissan will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the driver-front airbag.
