For 2015, Dodge adds a new Crossroad trim to the Journey line, that brings unique body pieces to give the Journey a more rugged appearance, says the company. This crossovers mechanicals are unchanged: a 2.4-litre four-cylinder (173 hp/166 lb-ft) powers base models, and the upgrade remains a 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 making 283 hp and 260 lb-ft. The four-cylinder is paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, and V6 versions get a six-speed; all-wheel drive is an option in V6-powered models.
Trim levels include Canada Value Package (CVP), SE Plus, SXT, Limited, Crossroad FWD, R/T AWD, R/T Rallye AWD and Crossroad AWD.
Standard equipment includes the four-cylinder engine, five-passenger seating, three 12-volt power outlets, auxiliary input, remote USB port, air conditioning with dual-zone temperature control, height-adjustable driver's seat, electronic vehicle information centre, full-length floor console with armrest, power windows with one-touch-down driver glass, power locks, low-back cloth bucket seats, second-row 60/40 split folding seat with fore/aft adjustment, steering wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls, second-row in-floor storage bins with removable/washable liners, tilt-and telescopic steering column, Uconnect 4.3 multimedia centre, six-speaker stereo, 17-inch aluminum wheels, heated black side mirrors, body-colour door handles, chrome grille, seven airbags including driver's knee blocker, intelligent keyless entry, and tire pressure monitoring display.
SE Plus trim adds seven-passenger seating, tri-zone temperature control, black side roof rails with crossbars, body-colour side mirrors, deep-tint sunscreen glass, front and rear floor mats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter, and LED taillights.
SXT models get ?tech silver? aluminum wheels, 115-volt power outlet, auto-dimming rearview mirror, illuminated sun visor-mounted vanity mirrors, automatic headlights, fog lights, one-touch up/down front windows, overhead console, cargo net, passenger assist handles, performance front fascia, security alarm and trip computer with temperature and compass readout.
Limited trim brings the V6 engine and six-speed transmission, 19-inch wheels, bright roof rack side rails, front and rear aimable LED reading lights, Bluetooth handsfree communication with streaming audio, Uconnect 8.4 with 8.4-inch touchscreen, satellite radio, fold-flat front passenger seat with in-seat storage, heated front seats and steering wheel, six-way power driver's seat with lumbar, remote start and garage door opener.
Crossroad FWD trim adds 19-inch ?hyperblack? wheels, black headlight and taillight surrounds, black lower side sills, body colour fascia, gloss black grille, platinum chrome roof side rails and side sill and fascia inserts, and leather seats with sport mesh inserts and slate grey accent stitching.
R/T AWD models include all-wheel drive, chrome door handles, leather seats, performance suspension and six-speaker stereo with subwoofer.
R/T Rallye AWD trim adds satin carbon aluminum wheels, black leather seats with perforated inserts and red accent stitching, body-colour grille and door handles, dimpled leather-trimmed steering wheel and shifter, and performance-tuned suspension and steering.
Finally, Crossroad AWD trim builds on the FWD version.
