The Dodge Grand Caravan is Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' mainstream minivan, a vehicle aimed at families on a budget. This is an old design that debuted in 2008 and has enjoyed a couple of minor refreshes since then.

Finally, GT trim adds a compact spare tire, remote engine start, security alarm, automatic on/off headlights, nine-speaker stereo, heated steering wheel and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
Canada Value Package models can be optioned with tri-zone climate control.
SXT gets a long list of extras, with notables being a DVD entertainment system, rear power windows, rear park assist, power sliding doors and tailgate, and a trailer towing package.
Crew offers a package with a 6.5-inch touchscreen and auto-dimming rearview mirror, satellite radio, 115-volt power outlet and a 40GB hard drive. A driver convenience group brings heated front seats and heated steering wheel, among other things. Dodge's fuel consumption estimates for the Grand Caravan are 13.7/9.4 L/100 km (city/highway).
Dodge's minivan competitors are all more modern vehicles. Those include the Honda Odyssey, Toyota Sienna and Kia Sedona. There's also the Chrysler Pacifica, another Fiat Chrysler product, which uses the same engine as the Dodge but gets a nine-speed automatic.
