Chevrolet's subcompact crossover moves into 2016 with no changes save for three new exterior colours.
The Trax is powered by a 1.4L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 138 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque. It can be matched with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. Automatic models can be had with either front- or all-wheel drive, but the stickshift is FWD only.
Fuel consumption estimates are 9.1/6.9 L/100 km (city/highway) with the stickshift and FWD, and 9.2/7.0 in FWD/automatic configuration. The automatic/AWD combo is rated at 9.7/7.6 L/100 km.
Pricing starts at $19,795 in LS FWD trim, and ranges up to $31,295 when loaded up with automatic and AWD in LTZ configuration.
