Great for a large family and towing
We are a family of 8 who is very active and does a lot of towing. It is roomy, comfortable and tows very well. It would be great if GM offered a diesel option to help with fuel economy. Waiting for the redesign in2014. It has been a very reliable ride.

Best all round for larger family
I bought my 3/4 ton used 4 years ago and put 60,000 KMs on it mostly road trips. No mechanical problems whatsoever, just regular oil changes & fluids. Tons of power. It can haul anything and you hardly notice. Revs nice and low while pulling over 7000 lbs of boat, etc and the 3 kids & gear. Lots of leg room so no complaints on trips. Great for skiing too with the 4x4 & roof rack. The Bose stereo is awesome!. The best truck I've ever had getting to the mountains with all your gear and friends. A dream on the highway - solid and quiet with power to spare.

2012 Suburban
We recently rented this car on our trip to Arizona. We were 2 families and we needed 8 seats and room for luggage. This vehicle was perfect. Everyone had lots of leg room, kids in the back row. We drove from Maricopa to the Grand Canyon and back on one tank of gas!! (approx 1000 kms) This vehicle has what is called "active fuel management" this means it can drop 4 cyilinders and operate like a V4. We drove for 80kms straight at one point on V4, this with a full crew of 8 people and all of our stuff in the back. I would highly reccomend this vehicle!!
