For 2011, the Acura TSX undergoes a mild refresh. It receives a new front fascia, revised chin spoiler, fog light garnish assembly, updated grille, revised taillights and rear license plate garnish. The underbody panels are also revised for improved aerodynamics, and the 17-inch wheels on the 2.4-litre model now have a machined lip on the spokes.
Inside, the TSX has revised centre console styling, darker trim pieces, bright-finish door handles, updated parking brake handle and new steering wheel garnishes. Both the 2.4-litre and 3.5-litre engines receive improvements to reduce internal friction for improved fuel economy.
The TSX is available with a 2.4-litre four-cylinder or 3.5-litre V6. The four-cylinder uses a six-speed manual transmission or optional five-speed automatic, while the V6 uses the automatic exclusively. The transmission includes a manual shift mode with F1-style paddle shifters.
Features on the base TSX include 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, automatic headlamps, heated cloth seats with eight-way driver and four-way passenger power adjustment, fog lights, Bluetooth connectivity, CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary jack and USB port, XM satellite radio, compass, tire pressure monitoring system, power sunroof, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, twin illuminated vanity mirrors, garage door opener, power windows, power locks with keyless entry, speed-sensing variable intermittent wipers, tilt and telescopic steering column, and 60/40 split-folding rear seat.
The Premium adds xenon headlamps, two-position driver memory, perforated leather-trimmed upholstery, and premium sound system.
The Technology package adds a six-CD stereo, reverse camera, navigation system with bilingual voice recognition, and 60-GB hard disc drive.
The V6 Technology model builds on the four-cylinder Technology model, but adds 18-inch alloy wheels.
