NEW FOR 2008:
- Ivory interior added to Premium White and Nighthawk Black
- Grey interior added to Graphite, Alabaster Silver and Royal Blue
For 2008, the Acura TSX is unchanged, save for new colours to its interior.
Based on a global platform used for the European Honda Accord, the TSX comes in a single trim line that can be optioned with a navigation system. It uses a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine with close-ratio six-speed manual transmission or optional five-speed automatic with manual shift mode.
Features include 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, tire pressure monitoring system, high-intensity discharge headlamps, power sunroof, Bluetooth hands-free communication system, garage door opener, keyless entry, speed-sensing variable intermittent wipers, leather-wrapped tilt and telescopic steering wheel, six-CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary jack, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, heated leather seats with eight-way driver and four-way passenger power adjustment, and floor mats.
One of the better-handling front-wheel drivers available, the TSX is extra sporty when equipped with its close-coupled six-speed manual transmission, but tempered with a smooth ride for comfort. It comes very well-equipped for the price, with an interior much nicer than would be expected for the cost.
