2010 Acura MDX

For 2010, the Acura MDX receives a refreshed exterior, with new grille and front fascia, revised hood, new side sills, new rear fascia, revised taillights with brighter LED lights, and new trim pieces. The engine has been revised, and the previous five-speed automatic is replaced with a six-speed automatic with paddle shifters. Ride and handling have been enhanced with a revised power steering system, stiffer rear trailing arm mounting, stiffer body rigidity and reduced overall noise, vibration and harshness.

Inside, the MDX receives additional Milano leather, a thicker sport steering wheel, new gauges, improved centre stack buttons, power tailgate and upgraded interior trim.

Both the Technology and Elite Packages add a multi-view backup camera, 15-GB hard disc drive, Bluetooth Audio, rear entertainment system, perforated leather interior and USB connector; the Elite Package further adds Collision Mitigating Braking System, Blind Spot Information System, adaptive cruise control, ventilated seats, 19-inch wheels and roof side rails.

The seven-passenger MDX uses a 3.7-litre V6 engine with six-speed automatic transmission and manual shift mode. It uses Acura's Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD), which automatically transfers torque between the front and rear axles, and also between the left and right wheels for better cornering and traction.

It comes in a single trim line, with available Technology or Elite packages.

Features on the MDX include 18-inch alloy wheels, tri-zone automatic climate control, tire pressure monitoring system, trailer stability assist, active front head restraints, xenon headlamps with washers, fog lights, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals and reverse tip-down, power sunroof, front and rear splash guards, power tilt and telescopic leather-wrapped steering wheel, power tailgate, rearview mirror camera, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, multi-information display, front auto up/down windows, exterior temperature gauge, illuminated vanity mirrors, ambient cabin lighting, keyless entry, auto-dimming rearview mirror, garage door opener, six-CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input, XM satellite radio, leather-trimmed eight-way power heated seats, 60/40 split-folding second-row seat, and 50/50 split-folding third-row bench seat.

The Technology Package adds navigation system with bilingual voice recognition, multi-view rearview camera, climate control with sun position detection system, 115-volt power outlet, premium sound system, 15-GB hard disc drive, DVD entertainment system, USB connector, Bluetooth Audio, and premium perforated Milano Leather-trimmed interior.

The Elite Package adds Collision Mitigation Braking System, Blind Spot Information System, auto-levelling headlamps, roof side rails, adaptive cruise control, and heated and cooled front seats.
