Jeep Celebrates Jurassic Park's 30th Anniversary — It's Cool But Makes Us Feel Old

Jeep is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the film Jurassic Park with a special and very limited run of graphics packs that you can put on your Jeep JL or JT.

While the main vehicles featured in the movie were Ford Explorers that were driven on a track around the park, it's the 1992 Wrangler YJ Sahara that remains the most iconic, even after all these years. The Jeeps were driven around the park by several main characters and Nedry (spoiler alert) met his demise behind the wheel of one.

"This year marks three decades since the 1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ Sahara was featured in the original Jurassic Park film, and since that time, it’s been remarkable to see the cultivation and evolution of both the Jeep brand and the Jurassic World franchise around the world," said Jim Morrison, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand North America. "This exclusive Jurassic Park Package gives fans and Jeep brand enthusiasts alike the chance to make their Jeep 4x4 vehicle unique, reflecting both their personality and pride of ownership."

The 30th-anniversary pack isn't an exact replica of the original, but more of an homage to that cool classic Jeep. The sticker bundle comes with dark red stripes for the hood and front fender, there is a Jurassic Park logo roundel for the door, and a JP logo to go on the hood.

Jeep Graphic Studio is the place to source the kits, but you'll want to hurry. Jeep will only make 100 of them, individually numbered from 00-99. The graphics can be installed on any 2018-2024 Wrangler or 2021-2024 Wrangler 4xe. They'll also fit on a Jeep Gladiator if you really don't care about sticking to the original.

So slap on those stickers, crank the John Williams soundtrack, and head to your drive-in or off-road trail. Because Jeep, uh, finds a way.
