It's Teaser Day: BMW 4 Series, Ford Bronco, Lexus IS to Debut Soon

Before a new car debuts, automakers often love to send out teaser images to generate buzz and get people excited. Teaser images reveal very little about upcoming vehicles, often just a detail or two. As we begin June, it's shaping up to be a busy month as automakers march forward with their new product reveals. As is the case these days during the COVID-19 pandemic, all the new car debuts featured here will be digital-only affairs.

Here are three teasers and new car reveals to look forward to in the near future.

2021 BMW 4 Series

Up next in BMW's game of "Grille, How Big Can it Go?" is the overhauled 4 Series coupe. BMW's large new grilles have been divisive and many have said the tall kidney grille looks like a beaver's buck teeth, but we can see that the coupe will be getting a new lighting signature. Expect the two-door counterpart to the 3 Series sedan to come with all the latest BMW tech and get big upgrades to its driving dynamics. It's been rumoured that a mild-hybrid system will be introduced on this new generation 4 Series.

The new 4 Series will debut Tuesday, June 2 and can be livestreamed here.

2021 Lexus IS

Lexus sent out a shadowy teaser image for its new IS compact sports sedan that shows a new continuous taillight that spans the whole width of the car. As a competitor to the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4, Mercedes C-Class, Genesis G70, and Alfa Romeo Giulia, expect Lexus to amp things up in the driving dynamics and technology department.

The new Lexus IS will debut on June 9 and will be live-streamed here.

2021 Ford Bronco

Photos and videos of the upcoming Ford Bronco have been leaked all over the internet, but that isn't stopping Ford from continuing to tease out its reveal. In this new teaser video, the Bronco, which is covered up in camouflage, shows off its off-roading skills by tackling a muddy trail, climbing up slick inclines, driving over big rocks, and fording water. The boxy SUV will compete head-on with the Jeep Wrangler, which hasn't had a real competitor in decades. The official reveal date for the Ford Bronco hasn't been announced yet and it has been pushed back a couple of times already, but we expect it to debut before the end of the summer.
