Kia Sportage 2001-2018Change

I purchased the sx model, simply for the awd turbo combination. Decent fuel mileage when a person is taking advantage of the added hp this unit has. Interior comfort was great, and awd performance in the Alberta winter utterly exceptional.

since this car is coming up on its 12th birthday, it hasn't aged all that well and is not the greatest of rides.

The Kia Sportage is great looking. The interior design is roomy and comfortable. The seats hug you. The AWD is what I needed because of huge amounts of snow where I live. There is tons of storage space in the rear. Under the main storage area is a cubby where I put all of my emergency supplies, tools, etc. The average fuel economy is 7.8L/100km highway. Great little SUV.

This is a car for low in come people, it works just fine but you need more driving skill to avoid issues.

Ran into a few problems with it but is expected with the age. Otherwise runs great. Gets me from point a to point b. Great car overall. Lots of memories. Great for road trips. I love my Kia Sportage

Have had it for 7 years with minimal trouble. No bells and whistles, but it gets me where I need to go!

Awesome ride, smooth, great shocks. We feel safe, can sè all blind spots. Nice features to showcase seating. Very comfortable back seat reclines as well, great for traveling long distances. Ample trunk space can comfort

For a smaller size SUV, the Kia Sportage offers everything you need in a nice compact package. The 4x4 capabilities have been awesome. It has tackled every bad winter and some off road driving with ease. The back seats fold out of the way to give great cargo capacity. I have hauled my 18' kayak on the roof with no problems. City driving gets about 550 - 600 km on a tank of gas. The additional perks include the AM/FM CD/Cassette package, cruise control and power windows and mirrors (and more). The leather has kept very well and floor mats in the front and back really complete the "finish" of the vehicle. I have loved driving this around and have had only regular maintenance to take care of. Love this vehicle.

Have had no issues with this car. Wouldn't have bought a KIA 10 years ago, but am very satisfied with this one!! Would buy another KIA product without hesitation!

This is a 'luxury' vehicle - priced well. I would highly recommend it. Comfortable ride, easy to drive, backup camera is exceptional in comparison to others I've driven. Heated steering wheel, seats, built-in child seats, no blind spots that I've noticed, just a real pleasure to drive.

Great looking vehicle compared to the 2009 Sportage we owned.Huge improvement on fuel mileage and power Interior design much better.

This is a great SUV, it has tons of space and the 4 cylinder engine is easy on the wallet at the pumps. Great in all seasons especially Canadian winters. Command start warms up vehicle quick and air conditioning cools it down fast in the heat of summer. Warranty is amazing and has a long way to go still!

Very reliable car, never had any problems at all.
Pulls trailer with no problem.
Drives very nice and has the Esc feature for driving on slippery roads.

I hadn't driven a manual transmission for almost 30 years, but this Kia Sportage was an easy fit. Either city or highway, the ride is comfortable and the gear shifting a breeze. Lots of storage space, clean interior and great mileage.

Have owned this one for a few years and it has been a fantastic reliable vehicle. No issues at all. Comes with many standard features not found on similar styles.

Very reliable car throughout, AWD is a blessing in the winter time and gives the car a sporty feeling. Fabulous good looking hip car.

Great smaller SUV. It rides great and is very reliable. It is extremely safe in the winter with the 4X4.

I bought this car used 2 years ago. very powerful, great acceleration compared to other SUVs and above all, very reliable. It has never let me down. I would buy it again.

Bought the 2012 Kia Sportage brand new. At 1500 km the transmission went. (yea shocked me too) It was in the shop for 2 weeks. Less than 20000 km on it and it wouldn't start. A wiring harness went. In the shop a couple days. Now at 30000 km the dash didn't light up. The cluster went. Been without car for 2 weeks now. The only good thing about it, is that its still under warranty. And the fuel economy... don't even get me started there.When it does run it runs great. Would I recommend a Kia to my friends... no!

Quiet ride, comfortable, and reliable. Have loved this truck but moving and need to sell. Upgraded the tires to larger nokian's making it very stable.
