I'm in the second one i've bought now. both were 1988 model years. these trucks are tough as nails without the size and gas consumtion of a full size 4X4. I had one years ago that I lifted, put 35" tires on and used for pretty serious off-roading. i've since grown out of mudding but just bought another one last year to haul stuff around and as a personal work truck. these things are tough and if you keep up with regular maintenance, they'll last for up to 400K kms and beyond. The bed WILL rust. they have a seam which will ALWAYS rust unless you really look after it. but for a work truck, who cares?

I drove this vehicle in college and it was really great. good milage, pretty sporty at the SI trim level. I upgraded the stereo but other than that it was perfect for what i needed. These little cars really last. mine had 300K on it by the time I was done with it. the cloth interior held up well and it had enough room for all my stuff. i had less back then but like i said, it served me well.
