I use my Fit primarily in urban areas and not for long distance travel. I bought it for its versatile cargo loading configurations and flat floor when rear seats are lowered. It delivers in that regard.

The engine and automatic transmission perform well in urban condition. The engine does NOT have adequate power for highway conditions.

The controls are logically arranged and easy to operate. The steering wheel can be adjusted up and down only. It is too close to the dashboard and therefore I have to have the driver's seat closer to the front than I would like making the seating position uncomfortable after about 30 minutes' driving.

I use my 2007.5 crewcab diesel powered Sierra (95,000 kms) towing my 9,000 lb (loaded) travel trailer including over mountain passes and in windy conditions (40% by distance) . 60% taking my labradors to field events. The engine and transmission perform very well. The ride is comfortable and the automatic heating / air conditioning system works well with one flaw: the air recirculation does not operate if the engine has not yet reached its full operating temperature; i.e. one cannot shut out noxious fumes during the first 15 or so minutes. Some of the control knobs on the dashboard are too small and the dial to switch between 2 wheel and 4 wheel mode can be confused with the light switch and there is no indication on the instrument panel when 4 wheel drive is engaged.
The insulators (spacers) on the rear overload springs keep breaking because of inappropriate material used (plastic instead of rubber).
