My '79 Mark V is style and elegance in a brash "look at me!" design. The Wedgwood Blue beauty with its opera windows, hidden headlights and miles of chrome floats down any street like a majestic powerboat burbling through a till river. The car is luxury personified.

Over the last 2 years, we've clocked over 60000 kms with our Suburban, mostly driving the kids and dogs back and forth to our family Trailer. The truck gets us there and back comfortably, with all of our gear, and sometimes pulling a small utility trailer. We have had issues with the intake manifold gasket, heater hose bypass connections and fuel pump, necessitating calls to CAA (thank goodness for the extended coverage from our Premier membership). I would get another Suburban, but will be looking for the K2500 diesel as the gas costs ($180/tank to go 1000km) are quite high.

I love this car, bought used 2 years ago for $4000 with only 130000 on it. It has the 2.2l 4 cyl and the Getrag 5 speed manual transmission. There's plenty of giddy-up in this configuration, and I can carry a TON of stuff in it!
