Great little city car
My family has a Yaris for local commute. It a great little car that is easy to handle and drive. The performance is decent - it takes you to point B from point A. It's pretty good on fuel efficiency and it has a somewhat modern interior design.
The interior is expectingly small, so you won't be driving this little car to Ikea to pick up a shelf or a table. The front seats have decent leg rooms surprisingly.
So far after 2 years it's still running smoothly without any major issue or problems.

It could be better
Our family leased the GLK a couple of years back as we were looking for a compact SUV. It's doing reasonably ok, the drive was smooth, the power was decent, but nothing really to wow us.
We really liked the exterior design as it combines the elegance of the brand and a touch of fun and sport in this vehicle. The interior was a bit underwhelming, as it looked a bit old school and bare.
Haven't had any issue with the GLK in the 2+ years we have had it so far.
Overall I think it was a decent compact luxury SUV, and I think the 2013 design is even nicer.

It was a horse
A reliable family sedan that wouldn't wow anyone but did the work. We had this car for over 6 years and had more than 150k KM logged on the odometer. It required normal maintenance but otherwise it was a very reliable vehicle.
The car had decent power and leg room. It was a pretty easy car to drive, I guess that's why there were so many new drivers driving this car...

It was THE car
Probably one of the most popular compact cars at the time, the Honda Civics from that generation is probably one of the most durable vehicles ever.
The little car gives you everything you need for a compact car, performance, storage room, leg room, etc.
The Civic we had had lasted more than 10 years and had clocked more than 150k KMs. Obviously there would be some wear and tear along the way, but the replacement parts weren't exactly breaking the bank, though I'm sure you can find cheaper parts elsewhere.
Another good thing about the Civics is that there are so many ways and resources to modify them. Ours were modded with skirts, Racing Sparco seats, Momo rims, etc.

A reliable family car
Toyota is known for producing reliable and durable vehicles, and their Camry is no exception. This car is great for families with children, as it is as roomy as it looks from the outside.
The V6 engine gives the car some decent power, and the car is quite quiet for its class/price range.
Overall it is a great family car.

Roomy
What you can say about this car. I only got to drive this car for a year or so many many years ago. All I can say is that this car is very roomy, I mean, how many cars today still offer seat beat for the middle front seat?
There wasn't much features in the car at all, maybe the norm during that time. The car wasn't too powerful not weak, the engine was decent, but the steering was kind of light.

Great little car
I bought it new way back in 2005 and it was one of the hottest car at that time. The car brought great value and design to the compact car market. It had above-average performance compared to other cars in the same class from the same generation.
I'm not sure about its durability as not long after I had the car it was written off in an accident. Since I escaped from the accident without much harm I guess we can say the car has decent to above safety features.

Reliable and durable
The Honda Accord V6 I had driven in the past was a 2002 model, what seems to be the last generation where there were very few recalls, etc.
The car was still doing fine even with 100k mileage on its odometer. There was relatively very few issues with the car even after a few years.
The interior design wasn't bad for cars from that time and at its class.
Overall I think it makes pretty good second hand car as it's quite reliable.

It's a Mercedes...
It's supposed to be the entry level Mercedes Benz but you really get every bang for the buck you pay for this car.
The exterior design takes the brand away from the typical stereotype that Mercedes are old men's car. It gives the model a younger, racier look.
The interior is similar to the other classes and most of the buttons and widgets can be found where you expected, except for the wipers where it's on the other side of the steering wheel.
The car is very quiet and comfortable, just what you would expect from a Mercedes. It has decent power from the V6 engine. The 4matic feature also makes winter driving a lot easier and safer.
Overall I think it's one of the more reliable cars you can safely get as a used car.
