The 2000 Audi A4 quattro 1.8t is an interesting car to own. It is a combination of aspects that you absolutely love and others that leave you desperately wanting more. Things that I love include the heated seats that warm up almost instantly, the smooth ride, responsive handling and snow capability of the quattro system, and the incredibly quiet and refined cabin when cruising at any speed. Fuel economy is also great (as much as 35mpg highway) when you consider that this is a heavy AWD sedan. On the downside, 150hp is measly in a relatively heavy car, resulting in disappointing acceleration. The seats are average at best, with no ability to adjust the bottom portion, resulting in a stiff back over long drives. Back seat space is also very tight when compared to other cars this size. Overall, a good quality German-engineered car that's just a little slow and not quite comfortable enough to classify as excellent.
