Great family vehicle
It's an Audi so you can't go wrong. It has great and for the category is reasonably sized and fairly priced. The interior is so comfortable and attractive. It's got power and the all-wheel drive is excellent. This is a great family vehicle choice with some sportiness to it.

Top end of the low end
The base model is affordable if you can find one used. It has won Top Safety Pick, and the base model has lots of great standard features. I like the design and it's a pleasure to drive. It handles well and has some pep. One downside is you have to use premium gas, which today means about a 15% premium every week or about $600 a year in cost although the gas mileage is better and you have less repairs to worry about. A very good utility vehicle.

Top of the class for its type
This is such a fun car to drive and you get great gas mileage at the same time. It's like having your cake and eating it too...as long as the cake isn't too big. Great pick-up in the base model. Really easy to drive. Not always the most practical car to own if you want to drive around with a lot of othr people or move things around but if you want to be selfish, then go for it.

Great affordability and some style too
You have to hand it to Hyundai. After almost being wiped out reputation wise in the 90's, they recalibrate and come back with a plethora of great, affordable choices a decade or so later. This is a solid car. Great value. No real drawbacks other than what you would expect...it isn't the prettiest thing on the road nor the most powerful.

Reliable, cheap but not attractive
I think you can do a lot better finding other makes and models that will deliver the advantages of this car - affordable, great gas mileage, reliability - but with a little more design built in and a little more fun to drive. If your thinking of this car, and your not getting a great deal, do some more homework because I think you can do better.

My first new car didn't disappoint
This was my first car. I loved the look of it and at the time it handled pretty well. We didn't care about gas mileage at the time, no one did. It was comfortable and the interior look was great for the time, complete with cassette deck and after market speakers. One problem...it was a domestic built car that started breaking down mechanically within about 24 months of buying it. Rust appeared at just under the 3 year mark. They just built them poorly at the time. Thank goodness times have changed.

Great entry level sports car
While it doesn't have top end sports car horsepower, it handle like a dream, incredibly responsible, making it very enjoyable to drive, even down the windiest of roads. Not a lot of trrunk space as you would expect but enough for a hockey bag or a couple of decent sized sports bags. I realize it has the reputation of being a woman's car, but ignore that nonsense. If you are likely for a fun, sporty drive at a great price, you can't go wrong.

Reliable VW and fun to drive
This is a peppy car with decent horsepower, greeat racy feel and very good acceleration. The reaction is very strong too making it very enjoyable to drive and manouver when you need to take some turns. You can get a 3 or 4 door model...I opted for the 4 door as it suits my needs better. Good price in the mid $20's. You really can't go wrong. It was well rated when it came out.

Expensive but worth it
Lots of power. Great handling and control, as you would expect. Responds immediately. The precision of this vehicle is very impressive, you will feel a part of the car it reacts so well to your moves. The great part is the cockpit is comfortable and roomier than you might imagine and I'm 6'4". The trunk space is pretty good too. Fits a hockey bag or golf clubs or luggage for a couple going away on vacation. If you have the cash, used, why not?

A small fun "fit" ride
This car is cheap, fun and has great fuel mileage. It's reliable. It may not look like much but you don't feel like your depriving yourself of the basics and a little more with this car. Roomier than you might think.l The interior is actually pretty good. It's also spritely and fun to drive, with a pretty zippy speed. All around, you can't go wrong.

A muscle car with some style
This generation came 3 years after a major overhaul of the Vette but they were still making refinements to the design, all of which I think are positive. It wasn't cheap going up over $70k for a fully loaded model. The handling of this version is way better than in past Vettes. You really feel in control. Huge horsepower makes it really fun to drive. If you're looking for a great muscle car and can get a good price, this is an excellent choice.

Honda Accord EXL V-6 is the benchmark
This has it all, comfort, performance, reliable and affordable, the perfect mid-size sedan. I really like the changes Honda made to both the interior and exterior design changes made in this model. It's bigger than previous generations, just before the recession hit, but still delivers good fuel economy. The 3.5L engine makes sure you gain some performance too, which I like as a great trade-off. You can't go wrong.

A rocket to drive
The STI is a mini rocket to drive. The second generation DTI, taken to the next level. Hatchback design but it works. O - 60 in 4.8 seconds, this is a really fun car to drive. Even with lots of extras it was still about a $40k car at the time Super fast, fantastic handling and as reliable as any Suburu, meaning it's 100%.

A car to show off
This is the coolest car. The design is just really sleek. Like most sports cars, its not the most comfortable to sit in if you are over 6 feet tall but that is not why you buy a sports car. It handles like a dream, particularly being one of the more affordable sports cars. Of course it would be great to have a Lambo or a Ferrari but if you need to keep it real, the Audi TT is a perfect choice.

Great memories
Wow does this bring back childhood memories. This was the first car my mom owned that I remember. It was a real lemon but we had lots of laughs in it - except for the times it broke down and we had to walk home. It was ugly cute, red and white. Definitely a car from a bygone era. Not sure if even had seat belts. If I ever see one I will definitely be tempted to buy it.

A stinker of a car
This was a terrible era for the Jaguar. It was a very cool looking car but the mechanics were just awful. Now its funny but when I owned it it was not funny to have the car run on for 60 seconds after the engine was turned off. The mechanic was constantly tinkering with it to no avail. But did I feel cool driving it - I did - but I wanted to crawl in a hole when I turned it off.

Great car if a little overpriced
This is a great family vehicle. In my neighborhood there are about a million of them, so you can tell the word of mouth has been excellent for some time, This vehicle is a slam dunk family car, with room for 8. The back rows are tighter than ideal but its a balance between this and driving something that would be huge. I think its a little pricey but the trade-in value is excellent so it all evens out. If you can afford it and dont want to worry than go for it.

An average van at a below average price
There's a reason why this van has sold so well...it's an average vehicle at below average price. So it's great value. It had it's fair share of minor issues so the cost of repair was definitely higher and over the long run you always get what you pay for, but if you need a mini-van that seats a small army, is okay to drive, has some bells and whistles and keeps the kids happy, this is a good choice. Stay on top of the maintenance and you should be okay.

A ridiculously big car
Was it fun to drive? Yes, it was. Did I feel ashamed of myself after a week for wasting gas, driving something far too big to be practical to anyone and taking up one and a half parking spots every time I parked it? Yes, I did. Would never buy it but glad I rented it for a week. It is definitely a vehicle for people that have a bit of an inferiority complex.

Probably still on the road somewhere
What a great car. Cherry red. Ran like a top. Totally dependable. Sold it and I bet it's still on the road somewhere. it was a great, fuel efficient car and by all accounts the Honda Civic remains not only one of the best values on the road, but goes like heck, handles sturdy, is nice to look at and you feel pretty darn good sitting in it to. A manufacturing marvel. Well done Honda.

If you only have so much money
Like a lot of entry level import vehicles, they pack a lot of value and little else. Rented one on a short business trip to Maine. It got me from point to point but I couldn't wait to turn the keys in. If you care even a little about comfort or styling, this isn't the car for you but it was easy to drive, had fantastic gas mileage, if very light on guts. You get what you pay for and at the published MRSP it is very fair value.

Surprise, surprise
What can I say. I had to rent one in Vegas for a week and was very pleasantly surprised. Nice to drive. Comfortable. I still couldn't quite get over the notion of owning a Hyundai, but it has nothing to do with the actual performance or value. Maybe one day I will buy one vs. just renting but it's clear a good commonsense choice for anyone looking for value vs. "brand".

Only if you have to buy one
Owned this car for 2 years. At about the 80k km mark, the fun started. Transmission problems. replacement of major parts, weird and unidentifiable noises from the engine but only at specific speeds. This was the car that broke the back of my every buying a Ford again. I realize Ford have made massive strides in recent years but steer clear of this era completley.

Worth every penny
What more is there to say...love it!!! There isn't one thing so far that I don't love about this car. I've only got 20k on it but it drives like a dream, I feel like a $1m in it and there hasn't been even one issue mechanically in two years.

A little pricey but a great vehicle
I know the margins are too high on this one but it is a great car. No complaints at all...although would like to have paid a little less.
