I love this car, it has a lot of power whenever I need it and all of the bells and whistles. I've got two kids which I can easily get in and out of the car and have absolutely no interference with comfort and space. I've had absolutely no mechanical problems and the maintenance is relatively cheap based on the size of the engine and normal wear and tear. (Oil changes / tune ups /brakes /rotors). This car has no timing belt which is unusual for a 4 Cyl but a HUGE bonus because timing chains never need to be changed. A timing belt change costs $900-$1400. If you are the tuning type this car has TRD ready written all over it !! Options of 1-4 stage supercharger and 2 stage intercooling and more!! If you want a dependable, comfortable, stylish and quick Corolla the XRS model is a must have.
