Many people purchase a compact car for gas savings. But I maintain they should be very sure about the safety features not just the fuel savings. The Lancer is very good on both counts. Great savings at the pumps and the peace of mind that while you practice defensive driving anything can happen. The car is well designed to protect the driver and passengers. Always be sure to check your vehicle safety rating before you buy - your life may depend on it.

I had expected to buy another Altima, until I test drove a Sentra. Plenty of leg room, well insulated to outside noise, great gas mileage, air bags everywhere and all in a compact car. The smooth drive will be experienced from our Canadian summer thru the harshest of winter north of the 49th. Oh yes I recommend the added option of heated seats, once you have tried them you will not be able to live without.
