Bought this car in 2012 off lease from someone we knew (it was treated well). Costs have been high with 80,000 kms. Air Cond has been problematic twice. Overall $4,000 in repairs last 2 years putting on 20,000 kms (that doesnt include usuals like tires). Gas mileage is surprisingly poor compared to other small cars. Road noise is very high. It does have a lot of pep and is great to handle. For the money, I do suggest looking at used Corolla or Civic.

So far have had this vehicle for 7,000 kms and am very happy with my second Pilot (had an 2005 which was great and still going). Gas mileage isn't bad if you spare the horses and stay under 120 km/h on the highway. Very quiet interior despite some critics saying it's not. I have driven other SUVs in this class and this one and the Highlander are comparable. This vehicle has added some interior room compared to my old 05 and was the difference getting a 2014 Highlander or this one. Purchased at Waterloo Honda and a great sales staff with no pressure tactics. Highly recommend!
