What can I say. Wasn't even on my list of cars when I was looking to buy back in 2000. Was looking at more sportier cars, then the wife says she wants to get the Civic. Bummer!
In all honesty though, this car has been ROCK SOLID! Yes, it's boring as watching hair grow, however, as long as I follow the maintenance schedule somewhat, this car gives me NO TROUBLE! I get in it, turn it on, and it goes. When I think of people who have more expensive, fun cars, and how some of the have had so many troubles, i thank my luck stars for having my baby. In all honesty, most other cars would probably have caused me a great deal of headaches due to my lack of care. but not her!
Also, many years ago, the wife scratched it on the rear passenger side wheel well while parking (i did the same on the opposite side a month later). As a result, there has always been a few spots where the steel was exposed. It has taken some 10 years for those spots to even begin to show even the slightest hint of rust. It's remarkable!!!
