Toyota Avalon 1995-2014Change

It has always been reliable, only required minor repairs through the years of operation. Has a lot of miles but still run like a dream definitely buy as a first car or if on a budget.

I've owned two Avalons, a 1998 and a 2005. I bought the second one because I loved the first one.

They are an excellent family car since there's lots of leg and headroom in the back seat even for tall people (my son is 6'4" and he finds the car comfortable).

The transmission is peppy and can easily accelerate to join traffic on the major highways or pass on country roads. The fuel economy is good as well.

I have had no mechanical problems with the vehicle.

I have owned this car since 1996 and I have enjoyed driving it from day one. It is a beautifully smooth, quiet and luxurious ride. The engine is very powerful and in fabulous condition. This car has certainly provided me with "driving pleasure" for many, many years.

This car has never broken down Toyota's are always reliable and trustworthy. The suspension on the car is amazing and the powerful v6 engine makes it a lot of fun to drive.

I bought this car used from it's original owner, who has 3 Avalons, and never, ever regretted that purchase. The car delivers great performance in great comfort at a reasonable fuel consumption. This is my 6 th car from this manufacturer and I never made a bad experience at all. If it was not for "down sizing", due to retirement, I would keep this car for another 10 years and would not expect any problems, while doing so.

This luxury sedan has been incredibly reliable and excellent handling in city and highway driving. Seating is comfortable with lots of leg room in the back.

As a driver I really liked the feel of driving this vehicle. It's really smooth on the road and has ample power to slice through turns. The leather seats are comfortable and I feel relaxed driving the car as well. The sound system delivers clear and crisp sound for entertainment. Furthermore, the appearance of the vehicle is very stunning and elegant that one would like to stare at its beauty forever. All in all, this car is wonderful to drive.

This has been one of the best vehicles we have ever owned. For a car this size, we still get 7L/100kms on the highway and 9L/100kms in town.

We have owned this vehicle since new. It is the best plush comfort ride anyone could ask for. Fuel economy is awesome for such a large vehicle. Would not hesitate to purchase another Avalon!!!

this car has many great upgrades! Added power to acceleration when passing cars in highway driving, stainless steel exhast system, caliper brakes in front and back for better breaking power, 1 inch width strip of zinc around the body prevents rust, spacious back seat, V6 power, remote entry.

this car is pretty much a Lexus with it's body and interior, and with the very reliable and easily maintained corolla motor and Toyota engineering. worth it.

This Car is awesome, drove the Maxima, Impala, Lincoln MKZ, but this blows them away! quiet, relaxed, responsive, detailed with great care. This is just so great that I am shocked there are not more sales of them! Toyota let people know about them please! this CAR IS SIC!!!!!

An enjoyable experience for highway driving. Great fuel mileage at cruising speeds. A very quiet and smooth ride. Toyota did a marvelous job building the 07 Avalon.

I bought this car in 2007 @ 10 years old and 130000Km's. I believed then that it was going to be reliable for 5 more years and it was less than $10K at the time. Excellent choice and excellent experience. It's a "Grampa" car style wise, but comfortable as heck and it's been very reliable. I have just bought a 2003 with 121000KM for $9100 and the ride is unbelievable and I expect another 5 years of minimal trouble and great travel experience. You just can't go wrong with these cars... although I'd stay away from 2005 - 2009 as they had some oil pipe problem and the brake issue affected the Avalon as well.

Back then in 1996 Toyota made its Avalon XLS series its luxurious line. They paid extra attention to detail and comfort. It has a 3.0L engine V-6 with a turbo button which really helps activate all valves. It is heavy front end and FWD which can handle the snowy conditions quite well. As far as gas consumption, it is pretty decent on the hwy, around 35 miles per Cdn. gallon and drops to about 28 miles per Cdn. gallon in the city.

This car is all about comfort and is a very quiet ride. The key is getting good tires that are a little bit wider. I put four Michelin Harmony tires on and we noticed a big difference on quietness and handling.

Overall, this vehicle gave me and my family reliability over the years and joy too.

Honestly, when I first bought this car, it was all about comfort and a super quiet ride. It is a 3.0L, V-6 engine. On the hwy, gas consumption is around 35 miles per Cdn. gallon. In the city, it drops to about 28 miles per Cdn. gallon. It is a heavy front end with front wheel drive and can get around quite well in the snow.

The key to getting a quiet and comfortable ride is to get the slightly more expensive and a bit wider tires. I put four new Michelin Harmony tires on and we notice quite a difference.

Overall, I was very pleased and somewhat surprised at the level of attention to detail. I thoroughly enjoyed this vehicle.

This is the most luxurious car I have ever owned. It served me
very well until I lost my drivers lic. It drives great and is reasonable on fuel. Very comfortable when driving long distances & is easy to handle. Iam sad to have to sell it.

This car is a pleasure to drive on the highway or in the city. The rear seats recline for added passenger comfort.
Only second owner, all maintenance done by Authorize Toyota dealers. Treat yourself.

This car has been great so far. I bought it used as a commuter car 3 years ago and have put on about 120K so far, it now has around 260K and is still running great. It has good performance for a big car and the economy isn't bad considering the size of this car. I average about 32 MPG on the highway and have found the maintenance to be minimal. I don't worry at all about this car letting me down at all like I have with other cars getting up in miles. There is lots of comfort features and the noise level is very low. The car is smooth and easy to drive, also easy to keep clean. A great choice if you are looking for a bigger second car (in this age group)

Whether in the front seat or the back, comfort is to be found in a 2004 Toyota Avalon. The back can comfortably seat two adults with enough legroom as with the front seats. It is a car that responds well and has luxurious interior styling. The exterior has conservative designs and unique style. The only problem I have seen in more than one 2004 Toyota Avalon is the front hood. It seems to have a paint/coating error and gets white fading/scratches on it. It is great for grocery shopping as it has a huge trunk with amazing capacity. Never has Toyota built such a stunning car, a car that won best in class comfort in its time.

Great for highway driving with good acceleration and handling. I personally like the exterior design of the car, sleek and modern looking. the interior is designed for comfort with heated seats and radio control on the wheel.

I really like the avalon, its got really good seat, a nice design, and a really modern inside. It's very confy. If you are a large size person, this car is gonna be perfect for you, the seats are big and confortable.

Comfort is the top of it class, 192 HP and a V6 engie.High power car but poor gas efficency. The exterior design need work. The interor design is too simple. The reliability of toyota in general is rmarkable. Avanlon go a long way, 300k and it still perform great
