Kia Rio 1996-2016Change

This car is definitely not the most stylish car but it has been reliable. I have not had any problems with it since I bought it. The only time I have gone to the shop is for a tire change or a routine oil change. Would buy this car again

I had looked a the Rio in previous years but found them too small. In 2013, that all changed! The size is great, love how reliable and relatively maintenance free it is.

While it's not sporty or luxurious, it has been reliable even though I purchased it with clearly only the most basic maintenance performed in its more recent history. It has good fuel economy that rivals even my smaller sub-compact car, Finally the service that it has required so far has been reasonably inexpensive.

i love my car very easy on fuel and ecomonicailly friendly was purchased new and never had any issues yet .

ive had my kia rio since 2013 (bought it new). it is very good on gas and great for a first buy. its interior design is awesome and has the best value for your buck.

It's a smooth driving car, turns well, brakes well. Comfortable for a small family. We've had very few problems with the car, and all were repaired easily. It has a lot of mileage on it, but is still in great condition.

Had this car for 3 years now and it runs great, especially good on gas. 400km to the tank! And only 40 to fill up. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a car to take you around the city.

Owned this car with for years now, some minor repairs every now and then but nothing big or expensive. Biggest downside i would say is the lack of air conditioner.

Its a small car that provides a service to get you from point A to point B. After driving this car for a few years, I am proud to say that I am extremely happy I made the decision of buying this car.

I have a good time driving this car , it is easy to drive and economic on gas. The interior is decent and well sized trunk for a lot of luggage.

I'm the happy owner of a very great car since January 2016. I like that car for my jobs and also for leisure. This is my 6th car in my lifetime and by far the best.

This car is admittedly nothing special. It is an inexpensive, reliable little car that gets from A to B. It performs just fine on the highway. Comfort could be better. On long drives my butt gets a bit uncomfortable at times. Decent fuel economy. Zero trouble.

A good balance between space, comfort and performance for low fuel consuption. very pleased with it as a family car

Previous Kia Rios did not have enough leg room. That all changed in 2013.

It is a little light on a windy slushy or icy highway.

I'd say that my rio is very easy to drive in the city or on the highway and it is the best buy I've made in the past 20 years.
Any body that want a good car don't by shy go for it it's the deal.

I have had no issue with this car and it is fun to drive. I haven't had any major issues as far as maintenace and I get great fuel economy commuting to and from work.

very comfortable, clean and very safe car always maintained, 2 oil changes per year, new breaks changed august, winter and summer tires

I bought this beauty as a first time car buyer hoping not to have to put much on maintenance for an used vehicle an I got my wish granted!!!

In 3 years I owned an 8 yr old kia, I only had to do the natural wear and tear changes, very efficient in fuel and reliable during winter...the first year I had it it bet big SUVs on a snowstorm by not getting stock ;)

The body of the car is very solid and would take a car impact so the passengers don't

I only used the car as a means of transportation and also useful to transport big items as the trunk is very spacious plus the back seats come forth. Seats comfortable enough but when driving for 12 hrs...not so much, and the style is more of a family camper gateaway...but still veery useful

Three of the things that werequestionable:
1. Speed to start...it would not speed up right away and needed to be gentle
2. Heat would take looooong time to actually warm up
3. the gas pedal would feel forced

I would not have left it if it had not been for a must...recommended..hope the newer versions are as reliable

Very peppy car, with great fuel economy, all the features make you think you are in a luxury vehicle but for the fraction of the price

This Kia Rio is the economy of economy cars. There is no flash or bang with this car. But it will save you by keeping the money doled out, for the flash and bang, in the bank. You don't buy an economy car for those reasons away, oui.

This car will get you to where you are going and it will be an excellent commuter car for GO passengers or for those quick local trips. As a long haul car...well it is an economy car; which means its good on fuel consumption, but lacks on the creature comforts.

This little gem for the last four years has only seen the streets of the Durham region. It is a proven fact that the trunk is great for holding golf clubs, hockey bags and soccer equipment. Put for winter tires on her and she will even see you to the ski hills.

awesome car..my wife and I both have one and drive them, love that its cheap on gas and these things are so reliable

The fuel economic Kia Rio is a fantastic little car to get around the city and has enough get up for the highway. It is very stylish with 17" low profile rims a sunroof and eye catching white paint.
the interior is leather with a nav screen and very easy gages to read and 6 speed manual transmission, prefect for the winter with heated seats and steering wheel, it truly is a fun ride

This is a Reliable, great on gas easy to drive car and parking is a breeze!
Lots of trunk space, many conveniences like in much higher priced vehicles.

Have no issues after 22 months & 18000 kms. Highway fuel economy is very good 5.3 ltrs/100 kms) as long as you don't drive it like a race car which of course it isn't. Comfortable seats for long trips except passengers seat is too low. No wind noise but tyre noise is noticeable if the road surface is coarse.Nice handling with the 17" Wheels & sport suspension but the ride is firm & you soon learn to avoid potholes. Has a Dashboard rattle that keeps returning :>( after 2 attempts with Dealer. Only car I have ever seen that the Driver's Heated Seat comes on automatically on High when the outside temperature goes below 0 C. Automatic Climate control works flawlessly & seldom needs adjusting. Great value for the $. Lots of great standard features that are extra or not available on more expensive cars like Rear Camera,Bluetooth & Voice recognition. Not a status symbol & your friends will question why you bought a Kia but I have 2 Mercedes & can honestly say I don't care what they think.5 year warranty on the whole car is a bonus.Seem to be well put together.Leather seats are holding up well.
