Ford Windstar 2003Change

Absolutly NO RUST and tires like new , great engine , transmission new wipers front and rear...trustworthy , very comfortable ride

Bought this car, thinking it was in good shape. However, lots to fix up. Lots of electrical problems. I have trouble shot this veh, and fixed everything. It now is like brand new. The fuel economy is excellent. It could use a change of suspension later down the road (around 4 years) but It rides smooth. Lots of life left and would be great for a family, or even commercial use - take out chairs.
Haven't had this for long, but now that it's running immaculate, and sound, it's a very nice ride. Low enough for someone with limited movement or disability.

It's a 2003 Ford Minivan - but it does what is expected of it.

Now - by 2003 standards - a VHS?? Really? And the seats didn't fold into the floor. So - Ford was not able to keep up with the times.

But - I had no issues with the vehicle. So in that sense - I wish Ford was still making their minivans.

I have owned this vehicle for 4 years and have never had a single problem with it.
It is great on the highway as well as in town.
Quick to respond and handles well.
Low mileage and great on gas.

Have had Ford vehicles since I started driving, hands down the windstar was the best and most reliable vehicle.
I now drive a Ford Freestar and miss driving the Windstar.

Its a comfortable van for a family of 6. In terms of performance its very good. It don't give us any major problem.

this van has been reliable and the entertainment package have really added to my children's enjoyment of the van and made road trips a lot more bearable for us all!

have had it for a long time still runs well not many problems and only getting a new one because we have had it for so long might even get the same type again just a newer model

We have driven through 11 states and 5 provinces over the past 10 years. From -45C in Saskatoon to +47C in Las Vegas. It is so dependable.

it's been 3 year I have this car and i don't regret it. Never got a problem during with especialy here in canada. the best thing is all the free place available in the inside. going to go skiing, diving or moving to a appartement the car is perfect and for all the space i have i don't losse all the confort. I's possible to take off the seat to have more place

Great for family outings, or simply going to the grocery store. Hauls 7 people with ease. There are several option available including power windows/locks/mirrors etc. Large engine makes it slightly less efficient.

Great vehicle. It has never let me down. Service has been minimal. Great for transporting 6 dogs places. Bad on fuel though. Ride is comfortable. Stable and responsive

We purchased this van at a used car auction. It has a few quirks with its electronic system (i.e. showing door open when none is and interior lights not working properly at all times. The dashboard doesn't have enough lighting and storage for change, etc. It is a pretty comfortable ride. A little hard on gas.

i own one of these and i have traveled from kingston to toronto and back a few times and it was very good on gas i only burned about $40 round trip and it was very comfortable i have back problems and it was nice to take a trip and not be in excruciating pain when i arrived at my desetination

I bought it for my familly and yes this is not the best car, but it fits my familly needs. However, I have to admit I had to repair it many time since I bought it. Maybe it would be necessary to improve this. At the end I apreciated it, but honesly I prefered my previous "familly»" cars: Dodge Grand Caravane.

Since we purchased this vehiclie, We have had nothing but great times in it. From travelling all the way up north to just going to work. We have never had one uncomfortable ride in it. The interior is still looking brand new. With the roomy seats & the large storage area I would reccomend this to anyone.

I have found that after 290,000 kms that the van does seems to be fairly reliable. Most repairs are fairly inexpensive or even doable myself. My van has the two captain's chairs in the middle row, which I now don't know what I'd do without. But on the down side the rear removable seat is not that easily removable and you need to have someone with some muscles helping you. I now wish they had stow away seating for that 3rd row. There isn't as much storage in the van as I'd like as I think under seat storage would be very practical. With that being said it is comfortable and nice to drive, has great suspension so for long trips it is much more compfortable that driving in a car especially since there is tons of leg room. The sport edition has all the perks you would expect in en EXL model power everything. and even the extra lumbar support for the driver's seat. It also has they keyless entry which for a person like me who has a horrible memory is almost a must now with any new vehicle. The fuel economy is rather attrocious, but I guess it's the trade you get when you want to be able to tow something. So for that I must say that I have enjoyed the fact that we can hook up the boat and just take a quick weekend get a way and you hardly notice that you are even pulling anything at all. All in all it is a good vehicle and I'm just being a little picky wishing I had some other perks that are now available on newer vans.

A great looking ride with tons of features and a powerful engine to get you where you need to go. I enjoy driving the van more than my car actually.

It's a windstar, need I say more. Have had nothing but problems since purchased (tranny and electrical issues constantly). Would not recommend.

I am an owner of a 2003 Ford Windstar that I love, there are many things to love about this van, its fully loaded including, TV n VCR, heated seats, mp3 player, leather and electric doors. Major downfall, gas guzzler, these days with gas prices being so high it is not the sort of vehicle you would want to get into. It does the trick as far as getting the kids to and from school, groceries and family trips. I found and bought my van using the auto trader online!

Bought this vehicle used and have had very few problems with it to date. However, at the end of the day....it is still a minivan. New vehicles get better fuel economy and are more stylish. Wish it had stowe and go seats as removing them is a pain! Great for carting the kids and gear around. Can remove back row of seats and carry larger items. Wish that bucket seats would fit in the very back section instead of just the middle row.

Bought this vehicle used from a dealership. It was just under a year old with low kms and I have put on about 325,000 in 8 years. It has been a handy with kids in sports, family outings, road trips and such. I have had to replace the front end and do a transmission, which seems to be the Achilles heel of this vehicle. Having said that, the overall cost including these major repairs, was about $24,000 so it has been a good performer for the investment.
It is not a performance vehicle but with the six cylinder not a slouch either.
I would buy another Ford.
