Ford Mustang 2013Change

I've bought this car when it's cheap... In the winter. As you'd think it would be terrible, but not this car. A solid RWD vehicle with traction control blew my mind. The tires weren't even new!

Once the summer came you could really feel the horses. Even though the Pony "only" spits out an humble 305hp and around 280 tq you feel it. The automatic in "sport" mode made this thing go without worry of missing a shift and without the lag! For a muscle car let alone any vehicle that can get 8.5L/100km on the highway and 13L/100km in the city it's a quick and efficient ride. The 2013 Gen's also come with an amazing bold look with the most stunning taillights ever. DO NOT GET UNLESS YOU WANT COMPLIMENTS.

Now working on this thing is a piece of cake. From cold air intakes, to exhaust (catback or more back) it's a breeze. headers and cat back with H pipe fit like a dream. The tuners squeezed every bit of power this thing has, just waiting on my TT kit with intercooler and the piping!


My only regret.... Not getting a v8. For the money. It's a HUGE bang for your buck!

Great car. Been driven for 55k and got no issue. Drive-able in winter with factory all-season tires, but I recommend swap to winter tire for safety; at least for rear wheels. V6 is definitely great for daily-driving.

Nothing but fun. Its a great car to drive. Combines economy with performance. The 5.o litre V8 does not disappoint. The difference between the manual and automatic transmission is negligible. Comfort is very good on a long run. It cruise at normal highway speeds with comfort but has quick response from the 420hp engine when needed.

When buying a performance car, shouldn't performance be #1?

This car is by far the fastest of it's pony siblings. Even in a v6 it's faster than a 5.7L v8 challenger, and almost as fast as a v8 camaro. Hundreds of pounds lighter. Takes off ramps like a race car.

That said you can't go wrong with this model year in terms of eye appeal because thats nearly as important for this car segment.

Dual exhaust, forward leaning profile, rear drive, sequential rear turn signals, horse logos that light up the ground when you approach it at night. It doesn't get any better.

As for practicality... one of the most visible sight lines through a rear window I've seen in any car, let alone sports cars. Engine quiets down for a a highway cruise but remains aggressive with the windows down while accelerating.

Easily handles rain and bad weather conditions with the regular season tires. If anything I feel safer due to it's high performance breaks and wide tire tread for wet weather grip.

Last note if you look at the interior compared to it's competition it's a hands down weather. Paying more for a cheap plastic interior in a slower sports car just doesn't make sense.

great handling and very comfortable seating.......plus good gas mileage takes curves good , stereo sounds great and ice cold air conditioning , never winter driven , always stored in garage.

What a car. Comfortable when you want it to be,Exhilarating when you need it to be. Quiet when in 6th gear, and roars when opened up.Overall a get car for the money.

Great car to own, had a splendid time with it!!!!!! loves zooming past other's on 400 series. Super interior controls. Awesome design and heated front seats are awesome for winter. Good mileage on highways and cities as well. Great Audio system and controls.

Love this car best kept secret of Ford I believe you wont find a better sport car for the price.It handle and sticks to the road like your on rails and power wise the V6 with it 305 hp is very fast.

I'm German, so when I say that the Shelby GT 500 is my favorite sports of all time that means a lot. This car packs so much fun and punch for the price that it can't get any better for an American muscle car. An engine that has so much raw power an torque, it slams you into the seats and puts even a Porsche to shame (on a straight line that is). A classic, yet mean look that tells any BMW or Mercedes driver you mean business. But it still has all the comforts we are used to from a Ford Mustang like heated seats, killer A/C, a sound system with an amazing base (do yourself a favor, get the Shaker 1000), heated seats and SYNC.

The car is great fun to drive. It begs to be driven on curvy roads without bashing your kidneys doing so. The clutch is smooth but the manual transmission still needs to break in (it's only a couple of months old) but it enhances the driving experience. The SYNC works well with smartphones and you can stream internet radio over Bluetooth. Trackapps let you monitor things like 0-60 times, your g-forces etc. With the premium package you get ambient lighting (cool), mustang-shaped puddle lights, and a power passenger seat The cloth convertible top seals well and it's remarkably quiet and warm.

This car is amazing! its just right for me, and it is very comfortable. I love the look of the car, how sleek it is, and the leather seats.

This is one amazing vehicle, one of the best Mustangs to date produced by Ford. The 2013 Mustang is truly an awesome car, more horsepower than you can imagine. If you are looking for a fast car, great sound and style, and comfortable to drive...the Mustang is the one you should consider. The 13 Shelby is one the carol can be proud about, SVT got it right this year. Can't wait for the 2015 Mustang to hit the showroom.

Going from a 2012 V6 to a 2013 GT is a big step! The new LED screen is great for those who want to keep track on their car with a real time readout. With the five liter V8, performance couldn't be better, especially with 420 horsepower on tap. However, with that much power, the all season Pirelli's just don't do the job. The tires don't give enough bite and the 8.5" wheel is too narrow for the rear of this car. I opted for the leather wrapped Recaro seats and these definitely hold you in place. It seems like the Brembo brake package is a must, because the factory setup that I inherited is having major shake when braking under heavy load.

Overall, the car is fantastic. Ford just needs to meet their performance and comfort with the necessary pieces to make the car work as a whole.

My dream car, I had a Mustang back in the 80's and it was a good car but of course had a lot of repair issues like most cars, especially domestic ones. But the Mustang still makes my heart go pitter patter,

Mustangs have a special kind of reputation, some of it fair some of it not. As ever the interior just doesn't seem to match up with what is honestly a beautiful looking exterior, but this is made up for by the incredibly comfortable seats and steering wheel material.

The throb of the 5L engine is a genuine thrill even for a non-car fanatic, and it has some serious pep when you want to accelerate into space on the highway. This is all fantastic fun, and of course the Boss 302 is something special so does turn heads (and ears) wherever it goes.
