Acura ILX 1996-2018Change

not bad its ok not very good but not very bad cause its mildly suitable but not the best but certainly not the lease making it somewhere down the middle which isn't good but it's certainly not too bad which is not bad i guess and if its not bad I guess its god in a way thats perfectly not good but also not bad.

i really like its interior and while its fuel economy wont win any green living awards, it inst bad for what it is as a car.

Inside, the cabin is comfortable and spacious--surprisingly so in the rear seats, with enough room even for taller adults to fit comfortably. Ergonomically, things are laid out very well, with all controls easy to identify and use without taking one's eyes from the road. Fit and finish is also very good, with solid-feeling construction and quality materials (plastic, rubber, and leather) in all touch-points. Cabin noise is low, though not quite mausoleum-quiet like you'll find in some luxury cars a bit farther up the ladder, including Acura's own.

Our car was taken in for A/C evaluation. The A/C was repaired but then we were given a list of other items that needed attention: Drive Belt (glazing and cracking), Engine Coolant Dirty, Power Steering Leaking and required new pump, right front stabilizer Links needed replacing. Plus all fluids low and dirty including the transmission and brake fluid. After picking up the vehicle with just A/C service, I immediately drove it to be fixed.The only item that would need to be replaced within the next 10K miles or so was the right front stabilizer Links. The mechanic showed us the power steering = no leak, the fluids = clean and full, and the drive belt was perfect. H

this car is amazing to drive in and it is very comfortable and it also looks very good i recommend this car for everyone

Good car, has pretty much everything you need. Fits lots of passengers, good windows, air conditioning is good. Engine can be pretty loud at times, and the wheels arent the best. Storage has lots of things you can ever carry with you like groceries, computer, etc etc, so thats good. Lights i wish were brigher, and the wheels should be stronger, easily pops. Rims get rusty pretty easily. As for the headlights, they get dirty REAL easily to i have to constantly clean it.

I owned a GS-R for 3 years. it was fantastic, the B18C motor pulled HARD, though having a JDM short range transmission probably helped, i highly recommend this car to anyone new to japanese sports cars for a solid starter car

Not many problems so far. Quiet drive and fine of fuel. Big enough for the kids and my grouchy husband. Room for the kids and our 2 dogs. I was able to pull our small camper with all the way up north with no problem whatsoever.

Pros: Aggressive exterior style. Terrific brakes. Good Fuel Econ. Comfortable seats. Many electronic technologies in the car.
Cons: 8 speeds auto dual clutch transmission is sluggish and hesitated at start stop and go traffic. Exhaust sounds like a low end toyota corolla. Blank taste. No manual transmission available. Suspension setup is too soft and riding on low profile tires yield weird feeling on the road.
Suggestion improvements: more stiffer suspension. conventional auto trans with 7 speeds not dual clutch. Manual trans add to the trim.

I love this car. It drives well, it feels good, it looks good and it sounds good. It is worth the money, especially as the fuel economy is great (life-time on mine is at 7.5 L/100km, city and highway).
I use it in the mountains with a roof rack and winter tires and have never had any issue with conditions. It can do all that plus I can pick up clients in it and almost every time a compliment is given on the car.

Love driving this car. Sleek interior with an awesome audio system! It has BT and USB connectivity. Have taken it on a few road trips and it's a nice car to drive!

Loved every moment with it it was seriously worth the money, and just perfectly reliable in every single way possible.

a bit hard on gas until you pass the 8000km mark but after that it even better then the epa rating it a scale dow version of the popular TL It not a Civic platform it a new platform on it on not la the past CSX witch was a leather and premium intrerior from a Civic the ILX is a true Acura with what you can expect from an Acura Lux,comfort and performance

This is a fun car to be in, the sun roof is a nice touch as is the back up camera. I also really enjoy the heated seats.

The car is really nice to drive and feels very luxurious. I especially like the heated seats and the sun roof. The back up camera also comes in handy but takes some getting used to.

Have just driven around 1500 kms so far its a fabulous sedan need to watch mileage though,i get about 320 kms per 50 liters of gas octane 91

This is a really nice car, i really like the push button start. The back up camera is great. The best part is the heated seats! It is a fun car to drive.

I like the interior design and overall comfort of the seats and everything, but the fuel efficiency is questionable and it doesnt give you a very safe feeling. The car looks very nice and performs well, never breaking down once.

I trust this vehicle. I let my kids sit in it. My family always travel and we always drive this car to travel. Put all our camping stuff at the back trunk. We haven't had any problem so far.

We mainly use the Acura as a family car to get to school, sports and the likes. Has great performance and is a great way for teaching the kids to drive, as it is an automatic, as opposed to standard, car. The car is good on fuel in comparison to our other two vehicles, however it requires a slightly more expensive fuel. Kids also enjoy the Turbo Engine. Our Acura is also very useful when going on excursions and trips, as it has a lot of space in the back and a rack on the top for additional clothing, etc... A bike rack can also be easily mounted on the back.

This car is a beautiful work of modern art. Drives like a dream. Stops on a dime. No troubles in the winter. Even night driving is a lot easier with the bright head lights. The ride is so smooth with minimal bumps. Quiet engine. Smooth ride. The car purrs like a kitten but has power like a bull.

I am absolutely IN LOVE with this car! (as you may see by this crazy title) It is such a smooth ride, and incredible space inside - perfect for family road trips! It has great mileage and not to mention great looking! i would recommend this car to anyone, it really is a great buy!

great, this car had all the features i would dream to have in the vehicle i owned, the way it handle the road and conditions were amazing

The ride quality is pretty good, exhibiting the road-surface awareness we expect from Acura — without undue punishment on one extreme or wallow on the other.

The ILX's handling is competent, with good front/rear balance for a front-drive car, but there's noticeable body roll, and the car simply doesn't beg you to drive it hard.
