Couldn't ask for a better car. Such a rare golden nugget! Corners well, runs so smooth. Made for high km's. Outstanding reliability. Sad to see it go. Nothing wrong with it the whole time I owned it except a belt and a couple light bulbs. Comfy, cheap on gas. Doesn't burn oil. Beautiful engine. hidden treasure since ppl over look it because of mileage. Ageism for cars. has at least another 100000km of good quality juice in it I'm sure. Lucky to find it and such a great deal. Hard to find good quality cars in a higher km range. This one passes the high km test.

Most reliable car I have ever owned. Great name for high km, never had to do much to it. Engine runs so smooth. Low maintenance required. Like the energizer bunny, keeps going and going and going and going....they don't make it like this anymore.

One thing I can count on is this car will take me from point A to B without trouble on a daily basis.

No fancy features, but I was buying it for the engine and the fact that the heat works for winter and that it will serve me well. I don't need all the extra's just a great car that runs well. As a standard feature car, has been very comfortable and an enjoyment to drive in everyday. Comfortable and roomy.

Reliable and fuel efficient. Great handling. Only downside is it burns oil, needs to be topped up routinely. Otherwise gave me little trouble over two years of driving.

its not special, its reliable - i have almost 300K on it, and it still runs like a charm - had to change the front suspension, and exhaust, but other than that - after over 15 years, it still runs solid - it was meant to be a simple car, and it does that, very well

A great car to own even with 250,000 kms on it. Has 95% of its original parts and is in great shape. Peppy and fun to drive. Fabulous visibility and great heater for winter or defrosting windows. Cute spoiler in the model with the overdrive. The overdrive is essential for accelerated passing on the highway. Fuel economy is still better than our 09 Honda and our 2012 Sentra. This car is utterly amazing.

While cheap, longevity can potentially rival that of the Civic's. Generally, we found the quality quite poor no matter how long it lasts. Even with old age, it has chronic ailments and struggles all along the way, even in its younger years. Due to its small size, it was quite a struggle getting 5 adults in (esp. 2 at over 6 feet). We also had visibility issues for something as small as a standard map. Highway driving went well though and we got to 160 km/h plus when we had to without any disconcerting shaking or noises. A simple investment.

2nd Toyota I ever drove. Extremely cheap on gas. As a student at the time, that was a big bonus. Insurance was cheap too.

OK, so it wasn't a Ferrari...didn't turn many heads...but it kept more money in pocket than most cars i've owned...

At 200,000km this car just felt like it started to be "broken-in".

Toyota really did used to make good reliable cars...before all the nasty recalls :) This was one of them.
