Toyota Corolla 2009Change

Great car and Christmas gift that I received. Recommended to my friends and family, they love the reliability performance of it. If you want to feel safe driving your car this is definitely a good choice!

smooth ride and quick response time. Very little rolling resistance. Tends to slide a bit on snow but is better than comparable models.

everytime I go thru a puddle, the engine light comes on - don't know how to fix it - light is now on permanently. The visor is too short. When you unhook it and put it to your side window, it is too short and stops just before your eyes - helping nothing.

I like the sides of the car's exterior very impressive. Though the interior was a bit dull but there was this and that buttons.
The car wasn't so fast but it was fuel efficient and quiet. It needs a bit tuning here and there but it turned out to be a very nice car.

i bought this car brand new in 2008, It's very good in gas on the highway or city driving. It's also very reliable and I guess the least expensive car when it comes to maintenance. There some recalls on this model, first was the gas pedal had to be adjusted, then, the mat and recently the controls at the door.

I have found over the years that no matter what year or model of that they seem to last forever and can be passed down when you buy a new one :)

This car is just the basics. No fancy bells and whistles means less to go wrong! Manual transmission and manual windows but does have remote keyless entry and trunk release. Heat and air conditioning work very well. If your looking for a fuel efficient commuter car or a car for your college student this is it!

this is my second new toyota. This car has been recalled twice and I went. The third recall had came but I still too busy to go. I do appreciate those recall but I dont feel safety with the toyota I
have now. This vehicle did give me quite lots of trouble, I am thinking trade it in with another car.

This has been a very reliable car, we have had next to no problems with it other then your standard repairs, oil , brakes , tires and such stuff.

Easy to drive and smooth ride. Inertior and exterior in excellent condition! Good on gas.Lightly driven by elderly lady.
Unbelievably low kilometers.

Hasn't given me any trouble so far. Nothing flashy, but it gets you there. Interior not suited for tall or large people, head room a bit cramped. The factory headrests in the CE model (maybe all) tend to worsen the blind spot over your left shoulder when looking that way.

Have been a corolla owner for 6 years now. Great little cars for around the city. Kind of loud on highway and not heavy enough - gets blown around going to Banff.

We've had this car for 3 years now and I have absolutely no complaints. It has over 130 000kms on it and still running smooth.
Very minor repairs only (new brakes, tires, water pump), and they were due to wear and tear and not faulty construction.
Great gas mileage and a sporty look.

This car is a little old and it is a reliable car. The style is not the best. Its more of a family car than a teenagers average car. The seats are comfortable.

I have been driving this corolla for a few years now without any major problems. Not a flashy car by any means but gets me from point A to B easily. Only complaint is it is pretty tight in the inside, it fits five but never comfortably. This car is good for a couple with maybe one child. The car has decent pep when wanting to speed up on the highway and a great brake system as well. I would recommend this car to others looking for an economical ride.

I love my car had it now 2 yrs never had a problem with it had 2 recalls that were fixed dealer is awesome take good care of me and my car. Very reliable and dependable I am sold on Toyota now and will never buy anything else. Easy to drive, gas miliage is great 40$ to fill it up what else could you ask for. Handles well in any type of weather and looks great plenty of room for passengers and truck is a good size. I can't say enough about how much I love my car...test drive one you won't be dissapointed, thank you.

it is really reliable, gas saver and with a smooth drive. The interior is not the best but it's not that bad. I guess the 10, 11, 12 models have improved.

This is my 3rd Toyota Corolla. I have never regretted buying or driving any of them. I need a car that is mechanically reliable and have never had expenses other than regular maintenance costs. They have been good for 300,000+ kms. The 2009 has served me well so far and I anticipate a hassle free future.
Besides reliability, fuel economy is very good on the 1.8L engine. When driving over 600kms per week, this adds up to economic savings.
On the 2009, the adjustable height seat is also a nice feature. I like to sit higher and straight in my car and this seat along with the telescopic and adjustable steering wheel allows that.
Here is a car I could recommend for those who appreciate style, but don’t want it at the expense of economy and reliability.

I've leased three Corollas over the last 10 years, and I've been completely satisfied every time! They are very comfortable (especially on long drives), totally reliable (I've never had a single problem with any of my Corollas), and quite fun to drive! They're "peppy", they've got more storage space than they appear to have at first glance (which comes in handy for those of us with babies/children), and the ample leg room means that adults can ride comfortably in the back seat.

I would highly recommend the Corolla to anyone who is looking for a dependable car at a very reasonable price.

I BOUGHT MY COROLLA NEW IN THE SUMMER OF 2008 SINCE THAT TIME I HAVE PUT 166000 KMS ON IT. THIS VEHICLE IS EXTREAMLY RELIABLE, FUEL EFFICIENT AND A DREAM TO DRIVE ON THE HIGHWAY, EVEN ON VERY WINDY DAYS. THE MAINTENANCE IS TYPICAL AND IF YOU KEEP IT UP YOU CAN DRIVE THESE CARS FOR A VERY LONG TIME.

This car has a great and easy to use interior design from the ac and radio controls to the 70/30 seating in the back. Very spacious in the trunk for sporting equipment or a long trip with the family.
It maneuvers very well and is a pleasure to drive in any condition. It has the best fuel economy of any vehicle i have driven.

We leased this car back in 2009, and it has been a faithful car ever since. In black, with the S skirt kits and alloy wheels, it is very handsome to behold. The ride is extremely comfortable, and the electrically assisted steering makes it great to manoeuvre around town. On the highway it is suprisingly quiet as well, making it a good choice for long drives. The fuel economy is fantastic, but with such excellent fuel economy comes a price. Don't be fooled by the S in this trim level, there is nothing sporty about it. The small engine generates little power and even less torque, meaning that you have to make sure you have that extra room before pulling out to pass on the highway. The soft suspension, and heavily electrically assisted steering, although smooth and comfortable, make the car wobly in the corners.

Reliability is excellent as the car is now three years old with about 55,000 KMs, and we have yet to have even a single issue with it. We will most likely buy the car back once the lease is over. If you don't care for performance, this is an absolutely brilliant car, and a true specimen of why toyota is one of the worlds biggest automakers.

I feel in love with this car when I saw it! I was starting a family and needed a 4-door vehicle but still wanted a sporty look. It has been a great car so far, but there have been a few issues as well. There have been at least 2 recalls, the stereo display comes and goes, there is little room in the back seats when you put 2 car seats in there and perhaps due to my height, there are several blind spots. I have had the car since the end of 2008 and have had to do very little maintenance on it, just the routine tune-ups, brakes and oil changes. The car is great on gas, drives well, provides a safe ride despite the recalls and I love the look!
