Toyota Camry 2008Change

The Camry is a comfortable reliable car.
We have not had any major issues and would recommend it to friends. We have taken many long distance trips and have found it to be good on gas as well. The only issue we have is the size of trunk. It could be bigger to fit luggage in.

Smooth ride, very comfortable. This car has been a very reliable automobile for the time I have used it.

Toyota builds some great machines and the Camry has been one such great ride. This one in particular is powered by a V6 and has the shift tronics for those sporty types. Given the power of the V6, one would wonder that the mileage may not be good. On the contrary, it has given combined Hwy/city between 10.5 - 11.00 kms/liter and on Hwy's (to & fro to Quebec, Montreal etc.) close to 13 kms/liter. The power is awesome, the engine is quiet and the ride comfort excellent. The road handling is great.
Overall, a great car I've owned for 9 years.

No any small problem, never spend one extra money on it. Really a comfortable and roomy car. Low fuel cost.

this car is economical and efficient with reliable features. very sporty with full body kit, which includes the skirt, fog lights and alloy wheels. spacious interior allows for comfort and convenience in providing space for people or stuff that you want to carry. full size sedan that is very well equipped for the family or a single person.

I love this car. Never given me any problems. Most affordable sedan out there and most reliable. This car is extremely fuel efficient and even better on the highway. I absolutely loved my time with this car.

I had this car for almost a year , very reliable and very fuel efficient car. Never had issues with it . Very roomy might look small but big on the inside which is convenient . Overall had great experience :D

My Toyota camry I bought used in 2009 but it never gave me any trouble on the road. It is nice and smooth car and it is affordable price too. Regarding the affordability and performance and reliability toyota camry is the best.

I live in Canada and I must comment that this is a great car for the snow and inclimate weather, it's weight distribution allows for very good handling on icy roads. It is also very reliable and great on gas which is expensive here. I feel safe in this car and would feel good about my children driving in it.

I had a camry for a few months and it was lovely. Very comfortable and had good drive on it. Wasn't terrible on gas but I would have liked it to be better in the city.

This is the car for current times of increased gas prices. Touota Hybrid technology is worth researching and considering.

Never had any problems with this vehicle, love the handling and its interior dash. The car also has great fuel efficiency.
Of course, the Camry’s distinctive tech specs are what really set it apart. Its 2.4-litre, 4-cylinder engine operates on the Atkinson cycle and not the Otto cycle common to all normal gas engines today. It’s coupled with a high-torque electric motor/generator hooked up to an HV nickel-metal hydride battery. This duo can produce up to 187 hp, while the classic 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder mill powering the other Camrys only generates 169 hp.

I purchased this car brand new as a work vehicle. I am a driving instructor with Young Drivers of Canada. When I first considered this car, everybody said " what about when the batteries die" After a bit of research, Yellow Taxi in Vancouver was running 300,000 km with no issues. I looked at it this way, if you get 300,000 km and your tranny goes and it costs you $3000.00 to fix it and go another 300 k then why not repair it. As of today Feb 1, 2013 I have 265, 312 km on my Camry Hybrid and I have done absolutely no repairs. I have replaced tires, headlight bulbs, front signal bulbs,as rear tail+signal lights are led's. I had to replace the power mirror switch, which gets used at least 10 times a day. The only extra maintenance is the inverter coolant change. This blows everybody away, I finally have to replace the brakes in the next week or so. I am still on the ORIGINAL brake pads. We, at Young Drivers teach our students how to SLAM on the brakes from 80 kph, I have taught a lot of students this skill in 5 years, how many drivers SLAM on their brakes from 80 k 5-6 times a week? As far as fuel economy. I routinely get about 980 - 1000 km per tank on about 60-65 litres. My previous car was a 2003 corolla and I got about 600-650 k on a tank. My thought process when I bought this car was, if my car+gas payment were the same as my Corolla then it was affordable, if I could save $75.00/month they were equal, my Camry Hybrid saved me $150.00/month on fuel alone factor in brake costs saving and the car was worth the extra money plus the fact the car is very comfortable, I spend 10-12 hours/day in it and it is very adjustable for a student, my tallest student was 6'-7" and my shortest is 4'-6". I will definitely buy another unless they come out with a 2 door :)

I bought this car new in 2008. No problem so far after 160000KM. Except the transmission was not smooth in the beginning but it is OK now. It is still one of the best car to own on the market and Toyota recalled few times to fix some problem to maintain its reputation not like other brands of cars they don't even recall with lots of problems like buring oil after few years. I don't want to say which brand. You guys would know so far.

This car is good on fuel economy and it rides good. The only thing I don't like is the interior. They should remodel their interior!!! It looks old fashioned...

The design is really good, but the only bad thing about it is that the car is simply too long. This is very uncomfortable when you are parking the car. Other than that, it's a good car.

ive only ever had 2 problems with it but ive only drivin it 3 times its really rusty and its been sitting for a long time but theres still some blotches of paint left on it. it was ok when i was driving it but you know time flys and now its reall old and rusty so if you want to trade you know thats cool

always reliable, great fuel economy. Best car i`ve ever had. I would really and truly recommend this car to any body out there having trouble picking there new car, or not enjoying there current one.

The toyota camry is a great car. If you perform routine maintenance, the cars last forever. I've had several and all of them lasted over 300 000 (at the bare min.) and many went far further. The maintenance costs are cheap relative to other cars and the fuel economy is quite respectable. Never had an issue with anything going wrong with stuff inside the passenger compartment (window, radio, lights) they all worked for the life of the car.

The only negative thing I can say is, the car is not sexy nor exciting. It's not bad. It's no minivan, but it is just a plain, reliable car.

Switching from the Corolla to this car was just night and day. The seats are so comfortable and the car doesn't look too bad on the outside either. What I love best about this car is that it gives the whole package to families; comfort, looks, and reliability.

Never had a problem with it, best in class in my opinion, over 100k miles on it and runs like new. Fuel efficient, spacious storage and seating handles like a dream and seems somewhat intuitive not touchy in the steering but fallows though nicely it's like conducting a symphony in my seat.

This is my 3rd Camry purchased. First was used '94 and probably the best reliable car I've owned. Current models are prettier but it's the 94-96 models that stand out and I see them on the roads daily. Hope mine will offer good mileage too.

Very comfy car! Steering feels very nice and the interior looks and FEELS soft to the touch, (something that many modern cars lack unfortunately). Sadly, son't expect it to blow away anyone at a stoplight, but at least its great on gas!
