Toyota Camry 2007Change

No trouble AT ALL with this car, I just wish I could dim the dash lights at night. I get 500 to 600+ kms per tank of gas. I've put over 130,000 kms on this car with no major repairs, only maintenance. I can travel with 4 adults very comfortably, 5 in a pinch. Luggage goes in the trunk with room to spare. In the winter, I put a set of snow tires on it and get around through the Canadian winter.

Very strong for a 4 cylinder car, handles very good at high speeds even with a load in the trunk, dosn't have traction control and it could lose grip in the snow.

The acceleration of this car is slow, especially when the engine is from a cold start. The fuel economy of a V6 model is quite bad, and it eats gasoline like there is no tomorrow. I must say the back seat is quite roomy. The sound system is quite alright too. One thing I have to complain is that the LCD monitor of the audio system does not work properly from time to time. The words on the display are messed up and I can only turn the thing on and off and can't adjust volume. The paint is easy to scrape off even though I have paid premium price for a tough coat. Just watch out of the flying debris on the road, I have many marks on my vehicle from those rocks. Plus the wind shield is poor quality. I was driving at 30km/h and the rock still make a crack on it. Cost of maintenance wise is reasonable.

I bought my 1st car in life and that was a White Toyota Camry 2007, LE, V4, 2.5 engine, leather interior. The drive was so smooth and it was so comfortable. Everyone praised it that it looked like a brand new car and didnt look like a used car. It was too spacious, the front and back seats, so much leg space, and also the trunk was too spacious that we fitted 3 big suit cases easily. The fuel consumption and maintenance is also very economical and cheap. Overall I would say that it is the best and cheapest luxury car a person can afford easily within a reasonable price.

Efficient and reliable, not luxurious. Costly to get features like heated seats, leather, sunroof, etc.

I can really say I love my Camry! The main selling factor here is of course the fuel efficiency. And it really delivers in that aspect. The fuel economy is AMAZING. Also, its really quiet in city driving. I can hardly hear it. I will say that a weak point of this car is the performance. The engine doesnt seem to have a lot of horsepower so it definitely struggles a little bit. But overall this car is great

good comfortable ride, reclining front seats and large trunk, easy washable interior and plenty of room for your passengers..

The handling is fantastic. The engine is sound with very little maintenance. The body is sleek and stylish with a nice sporty feel even with a 4 door. The interior is nice but not overdone.

There is plenty of headroom and legroom.

It is really cheap on gas, my family has been complaining about our old van, a Plymouth Voyager which was pretty expensive on gas but overall this car is great!

No major complaints, but I consider myself lucky for having the Extended Warrany Plan (ECP), as within 100k I have replaced showks, water pump, and now it's burning oil and it is due for a motor repair.
I would recommend the 6 cyl instead of 4 cyl, as the fuel savings are about 1L/100km, while the power loss is noticeable compared to a 6 cyl car. I do keep track of my fuel consumption, and it averages around 9L/100km summer time and 10L/100km winter time.

no trouble just brakes. it is 5 and a half years old with 155km on it had to to the front brakes once and the rear twice.

bought this car new reliability has been great next car will also be a camry. have owned a 1990 camry and a 1996 camry bought both of those new and both were very good cars.

Performance/Fun Factor

-160 hp approx. its reasonably efficient (i.e. it sends out enough power) for a 2.4l - 4 Cylinder
-The engine noise is slightly more audible (at least in my car). This makes the drive more interesting but not annoying (in my experience).
-The power train setup works well, the shifts are smooth, the automatic is good overall. It learns when to shift based on your driving (eventually). Its a 5 speed automatic, a 6 speed auto would be better (newer models have that).

Reliability
--------------
-The 4cyl engine will burn oil, this is a common problem. With that said the solution (being tested out now) is to use Lucas Oil treatment and use 5W30 instead of 5W20 oil. This is the real let down on the car. Consider buying a 2009 if possible, that is deemed extremely reliable from some studies. NOTE: the car has 180k on the engine but I expect more in this aspect. Just watching/topping up the oil after a few thousand kms should keep things moving.
-Everything else is great, it just works, it almost makes up for the above issue.

Comfort
------------
-Interior space is satisfactory, it is comfortable with rear leg room.
-The A/C & Heat gets the job done.
-The seats are very supportive, both for the back and the bucket like design for cornering.
-On the downside the steering feels heavier than what I expect, manoeuvring through a building car park is a bit of a small workout but you get used to it (I drive a 2006 Camry as well and that has a really light steering).

Handling

-SE trim: Its stiff, but excellent, it really has sport handling (considering this is a family sedan) and its not just a spoiler on the back. Very impressive, stays flat in the corners.
-SE trim has 17" tires, (bit) expensive to replace but its good and has a low profile which helps handling even more.

It's everything you would expect from Toyota, comfort, reliability, fuel economy and distinct styling.
Probably the best 4 cyl sedan I’ve driven, great low end torque for city driving and quiet and smooth acceleration on the highway. Fuel economy is great for this size vehicle and very consistent. Needs very little in maintenance and is fairly inexpensive for wear and tear parts and labour. I only have 92K Km’s on this vehicle and it still drives like new. I would highly recommend this for consideration for anyone looking for a 4 door sedan. I can’t wait to see new styling in the future.

Amazing ride, very stylish car, but interior is not very attractive. An average interior. Toyota should at least provide something better than this. After paying so much for a nice car like this, but once you sit in it, you dont feel like if you are sitting in a great car.

You can't go wrong with the Camry. This car is very roomy inside. It has great performance and is fuel efficient. The only negative review is everything I think of the Camry, I think of an older person driving it.

Runs great. Good handling and is quiet. Good workmanship. Very reliable, haven't needed any repairs.

Toyota is known for producing reliable and durable vehicles, and their Camry is no exception. This car is great for families with children, as it is as roomy as it looks from the outside.

The V6 engine gives the car some decent power, and the car is quite quiet for its class/price range.

Overall it is a great family car.

Used to think it is a reliable family ride. Years ago, it had a recall regarding the accelerator pedal. After the fix, the pedal acts funny. The mileage is ok for a V6. For appearance, much is left to be desired. Do consider the US and Korean alternatives when getting a family sedan.
