Toyota Camry 2001Change

its a little old and a little rusty. I would much prefer buy a new car that has more comfort and better performance. also the interior design and the exterior design could be better but it is a reliable and fuel economic car which are the pros of having a camry. If i was someone looking to buy a car I would not suggest this car although for some they might have a different opinion.

It's a great car that don't use much gas, runs perfectly well, smooth noise, this cars as traveled many places and it's still alive to this day, so that is tell you something. It's a 2001 beauty that can take you places what more do you want !

I do not have high expectations on car, I just need a car which does its job safely. This car meets my needs and helps me to get to places to run daily errands. It's easy to drive and the car size is just right.

True to Toyota's reputation, this car is very reliable and has a smooth ride. Handles well, great on gas. There's a lot of them still on the road, they last forever. Well built and engineered.

Runs well, good acceleration and clean interior. Rust on the sides do not effect performance. Still has MANY KMS left on engine!!!!

Overall a good car.

Have owned car for 18mths -- was purchased to replace 2000 Honda Accord. Have enjoyed the extra power in this Camry as my route includes several steep hills and mountain passes. Visibility better than my previous Honda and a little sleeker as well.

Quite interior, pleasure to drive, last model year built in Japan, excellent fuel economy, great family sedan.

This car is very comfortable for me, it has an excelent combination of power, comfort and fuel economy. I have been driving this vehicle with out any trouble, only maintenance required is to change Engine Oil on time and at that time mechanic will inspect the brakes and other parts and it is good to keep going.

Performance in this car is great it is still able to accelerate at high speed at the same time it is quite.handing on the 2001 Toyota Camry is really good. this a great car to drive.

Bought it at 160,000km - still runs beautifully, and has required only minor repairs and basic maintenance. Quiet ride too.

Have had this car since it was new. No problems with it; just the usual maintenance. Not the most luxurious car, but comfortable enough and very reliable.

No major repairs needed. Car has run great since the day I bought it. Fuel economy is good and very smooth handling.

We have had our 2001 Camry CE model for 12 years now approximately. There are some few drawbacks however, mainly the performance aspect in terms of the pickup/horse power. Yes this is a fairly "big" car but having a 136HP with a 2.2L 4cyl engine is just not enough for a car this size. Nowadays you do have cars around the same size or slightly smaller with more HP. I guess it is the technology, but the engineers at Toyota could have slightly added more horse power to it.

Overall ride is great, especially cornering, although you still have to be careful around roundabouts. Gas mileage is perfect for this car.

Other than that, its just the maintenance that you have to do to keep it running. Currently the car is at its 160,000KM mark and I am sure it will continue to go even further.

Have been using geniune Toyota parts such as the battery and spark plugs to keep it running.

I have had nothing but fun and pleasure at the same time with this amazing car. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone.

The Camry is a comfortable, mid-sized car that is economic on fuel and with no mechanical issues. Regular maintenance is all that is required. I love my Camry.

I purchased my 2001 Toyota Camry LE 4 cyl. in 2003 with 27000 miles on the odometer. I have driven this car for 9 years without a major repair and only done maintenence, brakes, timing belt and tuneups. The odometer now reads 171000 miles and still going strong. It still has the original exhaust. i find the seats a little uncomfortable and hard but othere than that I would give this car a 10!

I acquired this car through my in-laws. I'm worried I will be driving my 2001 Toyota Camry forever. I really want to buy a new car but can't justify buying one. The fuel economy is great, the car has over 250,000KM and drives like new. My parents owned a 2000 Camry, same model. Their car now belongs to my sister, her car has 200,000km on it and also runs like new. Nothing but oil changes. The interior is simple, exterior doesn't turn heads but its acceptable. The handling is decent however it does give the 'full size sedan' feel (very soft/loose suspension). Overall a great car, even with higher mileage.

The shear pleasure of driving this masterpiece has been all mine. The comfort and handling of operating this machinery is uniquely delightful. Gliding along the pavement, sunshine, radio on there is no other experience like it.

This car gets us wherever we need to go. No matter where or when. There have been a few problems but we have had this car for 8 years now.

this car is amazing. I had it since 2008 and its been reliable since, no big costs only for maintenance. its 194 hp picks up quick, 17 inch alloys, sunroof, leather heated seats make it a great car.

get it and you will know..its nice reliable and good car..over all i like it more that other car..only because of toyota you have to pay some extra money for insurance..

Of course when your looking at an older car you are going to miss out on some features that some people would feel are vital but this economic car packs a pretty decent assortment of features. It really is nice to have heated seats in the winter time.
