2001 Porsche 911

Trim: 911 CARRERA C4
by THECOZMAN on 01-02-2017
SOLID
Porsche is amazing. They are so well built and the body design of the 911 is timeless.

2001, it is an great car. Almost perfection with the exception of the cheap cup holders.

The interior could be a little more upscale taking into consideration what this car listed for new, $117,000 for a C4.

OEM rims are too small. 19" OR 20" give the car the proper stance and aggressive look it deserves.

Rock solid car!
Owned thios car for the last 5 years, and it is a solid car mechanically. Best price for performance and quality. I own a ferrari and as far as reliabilty and everyday usage goes, I would not trade this car for anything else.

2001 Porsche 911

by RenotaSchoepp on 10-22-2012
Interesting Ride
Got the 911 Carrerra 4 used in a wicked deal; dream of a lifetime. It's an interesting ride. Fun, mindblowingly fun on a twisty highway. Handling in rough terrain is incredible. Driving in the city is interesting in that the handling is so good you don't notice it...it becomes a sedate drive in a way.
What I found to be odd, though, was that the VW GTI I owned was actually more fun to drive in the city than the Porsche. You can feel the physics of the GTI doing your errands - going around corners, the zip of it picking up on a stop line. I really only got the sense of a similar driving experience with the Porsche on the highway.
So, I'd recommend a VW GTI as a reasonable option if you can't afford the Porsche & the Porsche if you can.
