Good car
Had a lot of recalls and issue with intermediate steering shaft having to be replaced because there is no grease nipple. Other than that, great car. Had 5 speed and very peppy on the highway with great gas mileage.

Gets you from A to B and back again
Having had this car since 2006, I can certify that it is what it is, A comfortable Sedan that will get you anywhere you need to go, any time, anyhow, with little to no complaints.

Technically, went around the world 4 and a half timesand she is still chugging along.

There have been a few enging issues in the past year, and the breaks feel soft compared to other cars, but she shows no complaints.

Very angry customer!
I have had nothing but problems with this car since I bought it in 2011.I have literally spent thousands of dollars on struts, wheel bearings, floor assembly shifter.shocks, leaking gas line, electrical problems, etc, etc.I always thought GM was a good product, and because the car had only 55,000 km at the time of purchase,I thought I wouldn't have to deal with major repairs for awhile. Not so!The problems with the vehicle started only mere months after purchase, and to this day, have never stopped. It seems every time I fix one problem,a new problem pops up a few months down the road.It just never ends.I estimate I have probably spent in excess of $5000 in repairs in the last five years.I am not a wealthy woman, and this piece of crap has been a real drain on my bank account.I advise anyone thinking of purchasing this car to stay away, and I will not be buying another GM car in future.I am at a point now where I may have to purchase another car,as I have spent more money fixing this than the car is worth. With only 150,000 on the odometer,I thought I would still get a few more years out of it,as I do not drive great distances, mainly to work.Very upset and angry over this.

2005 Pontiac Pursuit
I really enjoy my Pursuit. I notice people talking about the Power Steering Unit, should of taken the car in for the recall by the dealer, this was replaced free of charge.
Yes, left front bearing I have replaced. In the past 6 years I spent maybe $1000 on the car. I have $197,000 KM. I have been very happy with the vehicle and I travel every day. Only thing I can say I do not like is the rocker panels are starting to rust but I can blame the Nova Scotia Climate and not having it undercoated. Other than that no problems and I love my car.

Roomy, functional and dependable.
I have had this car for 8 years, used as a computer. First to work, then to work and booking around do errands with one kid - then 2 - then 3. Started to feel small with the 3rd but was amazed with how functional the vehicle was.

I loved the zippiness of it and the fact that it never got stuck in the winter.

Good little car!

Great starter car
I've owned this car since 2008 and I've had no issues or problems with this car. It's a great little starter car that is easy to drive with very low mileage.

Great reliable car
Owned this car since 2007 (it was a 1 year lease return when I purchased it). Never had any issues with this car. This is our family's secondary car and we no longer require 2 vehicles. 4 doors and roomy trunk would make for a great family car, or a student in the city.

Great Little Car
I've had this car since 2006 and its great., very easy to handle and good on gas. I don't recommend my two door car for people with kids in car seats I found that out the hard way. Other then that I just love it.

Not Great In the Winter Months
The car rides great and is comfortable however it will not start if it is below zero. Once the sun hits it and it warms up it is good to go. Sadly this is a problem with this model and the internet it littered with the same comments.

It gives a good ride but it is not great on gas mileage especially city driving. Getting 9 km per km it does ride a bit better on the highway.

Heating and cooling is below par as there does not seem to be a whole lot of power in the fans. Turned to max the cool air is average even right after a tune up. It never gets chilly and the heat must be on 4 or max to get warm enough.

It looks good rides well but overall not the best bang for the buck. I would not purchase another Pontiac.

It's reliable
This is a very reliable car, I have had very few problems with it over the years. It has very nice handling and hugs the corners nicely. In the winter it does not slip and slide everywhere, it is very stable. There is not rust that has been found on it yet. The interior design is a little flawed in the trunk area as it is very hard to get larger items into the cramped space. Other than that it is wonderful.

It's a nice car
this car is very reliable and suites my mom's needs perfectly. Fuel economy is good, it's large enough with good trunk space but not too big for city driving and parking. It travels on the hi-way well.
