Supported young family
This car has given us no troubles, it's amazing. It's still holding the feel we had when we drove it off the lot. Due to corrosion proofing holes and road salt, there is some rust under the doors, but it's manageable. Most of our miles have been on the highway. We had many good road trips in this car.

excellent gas saver
this car is real gas saver, reliable and efficient .never put me down always ready to go, I never visit repair shop because this car doesn't break, just oil change and fill up 30 litres every 2 weeks.

Great on gas and overall handling.
Good Reliable car that is great on gas, handles the road well and has never had any major repairs throughout the 9 years i have owned it. It was the best overall value when i bought it.

Sad to be selling
This has been a great, fun car to get me through university and the years following. The backseat is spacious to carry passengers comfortably. The car has been well maintained. We recently moved downtown and no longer have the need for a second vehicle - no other need for selling the car.

its a good ride but
its a good car except for the engine sensors sometimes gives a false reading and the engine light goes on. There is no sensor for the coolant which can be a problem as you will never know if you have a leak. But over all its a very reliable car for a cheap price.

Fun for the Money
Just pure fun for the money, good performance and handling with the 17" rims and the LSD standard on the Spec-V. Love the six speed, though it's very clunky. Has had its share of minor mechanical issues. Adds some fun over the base Sentra.

Does The Job
Car performs well in term of performance. It has a good amount of torque for over passing/changing lanes. Fuel economy is fair. Average 450km/tank. Interior design is very plastic looking. Seats are not that comfortable but holds you into place on turns. Engine is probably the worse engine Nissan has built. Numerous recalls over the engine. Please make sure recalls have been done before purchasing vehicle. The sport suspension makes for a harsh ride and almost painful during long travels. Overall, happy with the vehicle as it dose it's purpose, get me from A to B. As long as you take care of the vehicle, it will take care of you.

Truly Reliable car
This car has performed great since new in 2003. Always starts, has not required any work other than than new tires and brake pads.
I Highly recommend this car.

Just keeps going...!
I have owned this car for 6 years now, it has 247,000 km and I have only had to do general maintenance on it. Tires, Oil Changes and Brakes...that's it. It has been a wonderfully reliable vehicle.
I'm a definitely a Nissan fan.

Great little reliable car
We traded up from a worn out old Saturn wagon to a brand new Sentra GXE back in 2003. It was an amazing upgrade for us. It actually had air conditioning! Can you even imagine the pure luxury of having AC in Vancouver for those five warm days in the summer when it stopped raining? We felt like royalty – no sweating in our seats like mere commoners!
We kept the little Nissan for five years and put tons of miles on it - city and highway. This included many hours waiting at the border for our fellow citizens to import their vast quantity of Washington cheese and/or pharmaceutically enhanced milk. The car could be called "peppy" in that it had a lot of self-confidence for a little guy. It managed the hills in New West while barely a squeak from its tiny tires as it fought for grip in the rain. This was the four-door version and we were able to haul around four adults without much effort. But I wouldn't want to be in the back seat for any extended period of time as I'm sure the risk of deep vein thrombosis would have been off the charts. Perhaps the back ashtray could be hold blood thinners, just in case.
The trunk. It was a miracle to us. After suffering with the Saturn wagon (nicknamed the "Mini Hearse"), where any packages left in the back were ripe for thievery, having a lockable trunk was fantastic. The back seats folded down to offer even more space. By deconstructing the flat-packed Billy Bookcase we were able to just barely slide it right in and rest it comfortably in the middle of the front seats.
Would I recommend this car? Yes, it's a great little first car if you find one with low KMS and having lived a gentle and sheltered life. Just close your eyes and think of it as an Infiniti without the leather seats.
