Nissan Sentra 2001Change

clean car with great mileage and lots of fun to drive with the 5 speed. Great sound with a new Panasonic stereo and bright white headlights.

Very good car if your looking for a daily car that gets you from point A to B. Very good on gas and also very reliable.

Bought my car used in late 2002 (95,000KM) as a second car, drove it till 2013 (179000KM) with only basic maintenance.

Started in the coldest winters, ran well, decent performance for an economy car, and great on gas. Interior well designed and decent comfort for a car of this price class.

Only negative was the suspension very firm so you feel the bumps on a rough road, but all in all a great car for the money.

Dont want to, but I don't need two cars either. It drives amazing, and I can't stress enough how amazing it is on gas, the only thing that might be an issue is drivers side door is a little off the hinge.

My mother bought this car brand new and she passed it on to me in '06. Since then, it has been very reliable and luckily I have minimal money invested in it. A few things went wrong while I owned it in the past 7 years, rotors went, needed new power steering pump, new tires, something leaked a little (sorry, forgot what), seat belt sensor would turn on and off on it's own. But other than that, it has been bullet proof. I put less money into fixing it than average so I am very happy. I get about 400km per tank but that is with a huge and heavy subwoofer in the trunk so you may see a bit more. I got it up to 148,000km until I finally sold it about a month ago and I was sorry to see it go. I honestly believe I could of drove that car up to 300,000km with proper maintenance. The engine was still pulling strong, but it was time for an upgrade. I say it's not perfect, but overall, mechanically, I had less issues than expected so I reccomend it.

It was very good to have it. I enjoyed very much. What I like about it the most, it is that is versatile, it responses to the acceleration and the brakes very well. the sport style is nice, very good looking, small car for a small family, or young people, the trunk has a lot of room, it has OD and nobody believed me.

I had this car for 6 1/2 years until it had an unfortunate run in with a deer and became fit for the boneyard. It was a great car, bought it used in June 2005 with 43,000 km. At the time of its demise, it had 284,000 on it. The major mechanical recurring issue I had with this car was the brakes--replaced both the rear calipers 1x and the left rear one an additional 2x. They were maintained and serviced according to Nissan's guidelines but after 2 years of owning the car, there was always some sort of issue with them. The fuel economy on this car was fantastic, and 45L of gas never took me so far as it did in this car!! It was comfortable to drive and nicely laid out inside. I loved my Sentra, and would consider getting another one when my current ride expires.

We have had the Sentra for 6 years with out any repairs other than general maintenance. I would recommend this car for any universty or college student. Great on gas!

I have had my Sentra for 6 years now and still love it! Great car for being on the smaller side. Perfect for city and highway driving. Good little car.

I really love the Nissan Sentra, performance-wise I can't complain, and fuel economy is excellent... allot of miles for your buck!

I bought my Nissan used and have had it for 5 years. I have replaced a few things on it (nothing major) and your basic run downs, but other then that this car is the best 4 door little sedan you can get for your money. Love love my Nissan. Prior to this I had a 89 Nissan Sentra and again no big headache. I will always be a Nissan happy driver :)

It is also affordable on insurance and low maintenence if you use preventative maintenence

This car is amazing, easy on gas, rides nicely, very comfortable and is very reliable.
Although if it does break down, parts can be a bit pricey.
I would recommend this car to anyone.

My car is a 5 speed and is a fun car to drive. It is excellent on gas and doesn't burn any oil. The worse thing I find with it is that the front seats are like sitting on a park bench and it was very quick to rust out along the bottoms of the doors.

Original owner. My Sentra has hit it's 200K+ mark and is still going strong. Cheap, reliable, never have had a problem with the powertrain or any of the power windows/doors/moonroof. No leaks real leaks, no real problems. This was a great car and has trained 3 new drivers who abused it regularly.

I would recommend this car for those who don't mind the ho-hum looks and need a reliable commuter to putter about in the city. Not the best for long trips, but good for short day trips.

Newer versions of the Sentra have much better fuel economy than the older version so go with those if possible.
