Nissan Pathfinder 1999Change

I have had my pathfinder for 8 years. It's a lot of fun to drive and can get you just about anywhere in it. I had no major mechanical problems with it. The muffler is about the only thing to wear down on it. Nissan made a unstoppable force with this SUV.

Oh yeah, still loving the tape deck too.

my suv is an amazing suv for winter and all other season around. i love this suv, but its time to sell it and go for a smaller car.

I really love this vehicle. It is well designed, great miledge, fuel is a bit harder than other SUV's I have driven in, but it is a powerful engine.

I have driven this everywhere and anywhere hard and it has survived to almost 400kms now. On the road the pathfinder feels safe, specially in poor driving conditions, it is easy to handle with its smaller size and has enough power and traction in 4wd to get through deep snow, mud. Off road the same.

The Pathfinder is a great example of Japanese technology again trumping the domestic brands. With a durable 3.5litre engine and tough transmission, the Pathfinder proves itself in longevity over several other domestic brands I have owned in the past. WIth well over 350,000 km. on the odometer & no major repair bills, this SUV well definitely have me considering another for the time when it needs to be replaced. My hope is that in later generations, they solve the rust prone fenders, window trim, rims and tailgate issues and keep the drive & engine compartments in tact!
