2015 Nissan Murano

It is a Fantastic car to own and drive
Never a problem, Great comfort, ride and room. Good on gas but I think could be a little better. Certainly the most comfortable SUV I have driven, better than any GM or Ford that I have had

2015 Nissan Murano

It’s a great vehicle with all the bells and whistles in the Platinum trim
I have had a great experience with this vehicle so far. The only downside is that fuel consumption in city driving is s bit high....13-14 liters per 100km. However on road trips with extended highway driving it does get 8-8.5 and it will even go down to the high sevens if you run it at no more 100km/hr.

Affordable Luxury
This car is great all around. In comparison to other luxury cars from other name brands, the pricing is great. Car is great to look at, perfect to show off to all family and friends. It is very comfortable, it doesn't even feel like you are sitting in a car but rather in the comfort of your own home!!!!
Most importantly, the car drives great. No weird noises, moves smoothly.
I recommend this to anyone, great family car!!

2017 Nissan Murano

Great ride, lousy technology
I am at 4,500 km with my new Murano. Like the car and ride, two things that are don't like:

1. Nissan Connect - lousy connection with my iPhone. none of the advertised features of Nissan Connect work with my phone and am getting bounced from the Dealer to the Nissan Connect help line.

2. Rented a new Rogue a couple of weeks ago while on holidays. It had the D shaped steering wheel. Ergonomics are way better, the Murano has volume control at the bottom, hard to reach without having to avert your eyes from the road. I was really impressed with the Rogue steering wheel, not sure why a lesser model has a better wheel?

2016 Nissan Murano

Wonderful SUV
A very sleek looking vehicle. The interior is also very nicely appointed along with "zero gravity" seats that are extremely comfortable. The 11 speakers made by BOSE are fabulous to listen to as well along with the 7 inch screen that incorporates the navigation system and the electronic hub of the suv. The room in the backseat is also ample and comes with heated seats. The safety features with 4 cameras and the alerts you get are very helpful. The sunroof is also wonderful as are the great looking rims. A few negatives for me is trying to back up and relying on the rear windows. Due to the styling which I love it is difficult to see out looking through the rear side windows. I know the camera is there but you still need to use both. Another would be the lack of rain sensing wipers. They should be something you receive on a Platinum addition.

2015 Nissan Murano

A powerful and reliable full-size SUV
Unique styling sets the Murano apart from its rivals in the often repetitive crossover landscape. With nicely weighted steering and confident brakes, its driving dynamics are satisfying as well. A 260-hp 3.5-liter V-6, a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and front-drive are standard; all-wheel drive is optional. A hybrid, available in limited numbers, returns up to an EPA-rated 31 mpg highway. The interior is nicely appointed with handsome , and the ride is quiet and composed.

2015 Nissan Murano

Not up to the 'standards' of models produced in Japan
Having owned a 2003, 2005, 2008, and 2012 top trim level versions prior to purchasing my 2015 I have watched this car receive upgrades with each new model making it even more enjoyable to drive. Yes, they have added a variety of safety features that are a welcome addition, the upgraded interior is wonderful, and added ability to down shift once again BUT they have also removed some things that were often used and 'expected' in the current model. Things like moisture sensing wipers, sun visor pull out extensions, hard drive in navigation/info system to record music. As well, little things like the retractable cargo cover, cargo net, rear bumper protective strip are now 'accessories' available at additional cost (IF you can find them); accent paint on lower part of bumpers has be replaced by black plastic, the pearl paint is far from what I have become accustomed to (bubbles and orange peel texture that was never present on Japanese built versions). Definitely NOT up to the standards of the Japanese produced versions.
Car is only a couple of months old so 'reliability' is expected to be the same as previous versions.
