Mazda Miata MX-5 2008Change

Bought a used 2008 and have a perma smile on my face! Great value and just enough power to zip around tight corners! Very stable and well made. I am quite happy with this purchase!

I have owned all three generation of Miata, I have to say the second gen (99-2005), is by far the most fun to drive. The biggest problem with the newer MX5 is they are too big and heavy. They lack the agility of the earlier miatas. I still love the suspension though. The soft top is a better quality and I gotta love the single latch design. But I rather have the car lose some weight and size and maybe fit in a 1.8 or even 1.6 engine, just to keep the car fun. Brakes is good, but unfortunatly, I cannot fit 15" wheels on this car, so that is a down side.

the handling of the car left something to be desired but other than that it's pretty nice. Not exactly a car for a family, and it isn't the best when it comes to reliability.

I have owned 6 Mazda Miata MX-5's over the years and I'm only selling this one because I still have another one!

While it doesn't have top end sports car horsepower, it handle like a dream, incredibly responsible, making it very enjoyable to drive, even down the windiest of roads. Not a lot of trrunk space as you would expect but enough for a hockey bag or a couple of decent sized sports bags. I realize it has the reputation of being a woman's car, but ignore that nonsense. If you are likely for a fun, sporty drive at a great price, you can't go wrong.
