Is there things about this car that can be better? Sure. But for the value there is not a better car on the market at the moment.

A Mazda 3 has everything you could wish for in a car. Sporty inside and out with high performance engine. The gas mileage is excellent for a sporty car. The interior is comfortable and nice looking and the ride is excellent for a medium car.
It is extremely reliable.

Excellent car for those looking for basic transportation. Test drove a number of models from all the major manufacturers and nothing came close as far as bang for the buck. For under $20k on the road (end of the model year, including all fees and taxes) I am driving around in a slick looking, sporty car with superb handling. Everything else in this price range felt wobbly and underpowered. While the 2.0 engine isn't the most fuel efficient, it's perfectly acceptable for those who don't put on too many km each year.

The Mazda 3 is an amazing car! It handles really smooth, and is great on gas! The interior is really stylish, and who can resist the Bose sound system.... it makes it hard driving any other vehicle.

The heated contoured seats really add to the comfort of the Mazda 3! A great car overall!

This car has been an excellent vehicle from start to finish. I do recommend getting the 2.5, as the 2.0 is lacking in the power region.

This has been an excellent car thus far. Get the 2.5L, much better than the 2.0..It is fairly good on gas, but can be bad if doing spirited driving.

Great interior design and exterior landscape. Awesome audio. i was very please the way this car is serving my family. Even though i want to own a honda as my first car but i think my preference just changed dramatically.

While I don't have the SKYACTIV technology that is available with the 2012 models, my MAZDA 3 gets great fuel economy, which is good because I drove it from Windsor, ON to Calgary, AB this summer. I am also happy with the acceleration available from such a small engine, some cars like the Focus just don't seem to have anything to them when you press the gas.

Fantastic car. Unfortunately I have to part with mine. Mazda's sales and service team was excellent. I test drove every car in the 3's class from all the other manufacturers before I decide to purchase mine. Extremely comfortable to drive and ride in. Back seats are squished but since I'm driving its not my issue. Bluetooth seems to be out of date compared to the Honda Civic or Ford Focus. The 3 drives much better then both of those cars. I like that there aren't screens all over the place. That was the one thing that turned me off from the Focus. I have only had the vehicle for service for oil changes and a hit and run. Other then that absolutely no mechanical issues. The 2.5L engine is extremely fun to drive but a tad disappointing on efficiency. All that torque makes the manual transmission a pleasure to shift especially with the clutch it is mated to. I look forward to purchasing another one in the future.

I have had this car for over a year and I do not have any big complaints. My only real complaint is the plastic underside of the hood as it fell off quite easily when going through a puzzle. Overall the car has been good otherwise.

You would be stupid to buy a corolla or civic over a Mazda 3, one of the best handling cars for the price, as well as a great interior.

This is probably the best in class. Very good performance, comfortable, way above average handling.

I was very surprise about this little car. For the size of the vehicle, I find it comfortable, fun to ride, good looking.
