Cute, fun, fast, safe and cheap
This mini is all things to all people.
Safe, capable, fun and fast. Mountains on the weekends, winter or summer, highway road trips, or daily commutes.
easy on gas and legendary handling. Stay single, cause this pocket rocket isn't big enough for 2 car seats. Maybe that's a good thing.

Stylish and amazing handling!
This car cost about 60$ to fill up with 91 gasoline (89 is fine too but the motors performs better with 91) and I can easily hit 700km on one tank.
It's low so it handles great but I never got stuck in winter. Even this past winter with all the snow, my winter tires got me through everything with no worries.
It also has Road Side Assistance with BMW warranty which is always reassuring.

Is a lot of fun to drive
I have had this car from brand new and from the first test drive on, I rarely do not smile when I am driving this car. Some say they are like go carts with a roof and I agree. The back doors impair the rear visibility but I like the extra space of this model. The extra door on the passenger side makes it much easier to get access to the back seats. The car is small which makes it easy to park and I can get into some places other cars would not fit. Interior space is good for the size of the car, four adults will fit and would be ok for a short to medium drive. Winter driving is comfortable with a good set of winter tires, I am often impressed at how well the traction control works. I fully plan to get another Mini when I am finished with this one.

Awesome little ride!
Love the Mini Cooper. It is sporty, fun to drive, handles well and is easy to park. Great car for city commuting - burns little gas and has lots of pep in the engine.

It's a Rough Ride
If you like a sporty car, then the Mini Cooper S is for you. It is very sporty in every sense of the word. Excellent performance in terms of engine but the ride can grate on you on rough surface roads. If you are looking for a car with go kart like handling, then look no further but if you want something a little more refined, then you may want to get the less sporty version of the Mini. Haven't tried the JCW version but can only imagine it's degrees "sportier" than the S version.

Mini Cooper Review
This car is tiny yet spacious. Its a little powerful car that runs smooth and looks really nice. Its a head-turner when driven on the street.

Fantastic little car
It actually handles great in an Alberta winter too, just put snowtires on. I got lots of looks and thumbs ups while driving it. Definitely an attention getter.
I would recommend getting one.
2 minor problems
The sound system input for the mp3 is a stupid proprietary cable that costs $150, and really does nothing except annoy you, and it will not work with the iphone 5
It uses PREMIUM GAS

It will put a smile on your face
I have driven both the hardtop and convertible versions of the 2010 Mini Cooper and while both offer the fun Mini driving experience I would give the nod to the convertible. It's been said before that driving a Mini is like driving a go-kart and with the convertible it really does feel like that. You feel like you are glued to the road and going around hairpin turns is tons of fun in this car. The Automatic steptronic transmission (a cue to it's BMW pedigree) is tons of fun to drive. Great for those of us who enjoy the feeling of a manual car but appreciate the practicality of having the automatic option (I don't miss those hill starts in a manual!)
I drove the base models with approx 120 hp. I can only imagine how much fun you could have with an upgrade to the S model which adds an extra 50 horsepower.
If you don't need alot of cargo space (and you have small friends) then the Mini convertible is the perfect car to make your daily drive a ton of fun!

Like being allowed to drive a go-kart on the street!
I had wanted a mini since the day they re-launched in North America when there was a waiting list to get one. Common concerns arose around size and practicality from family and friends, which convinced me to move into a more practical 4-door hatch. When that car had an issue and it was time to trade-in I decided that I would make the mini move! I did not consult those over-practical friends and family this time, but rather took cues from Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear who loves the mini. There is no going back for me now, the mini is a lifestyle car, I feel like I'm driving a very fast go-kart, and love that. The car is responsive, and quick. Overall the comfort is good, I find the sports suspension a bit jarring when I have a cup of coffee in my hand, but maybe that's not a bad thing as coffee should be firmly stowed in cup holder, not in hand while driving manual transmission vehicle. There have been trips to Ikea made, and I have fit 4 large humans in there for short trips. Fuel consumption is not quite as stellar as I would have expected from such a small car, but it is not anything that would dissuade me from buying a mini, certainly it is better than other compact cars out there. Overall I love the car, would recommend, and will likely consider another for my next. GO MINI. peace out
