Lexus LS 2000Change

This is simply the FINEST automobile ever made bar none, period!!! The 1998-2000 models were the PINNACLE of the "original FLAGSHIP Lexus". It is totally evident that Lexus did not SPARE ANY EXPENSE in lavishing this car with the finest everything they could come up with.

Everything from the insane comfort of the SEATS, the INSANELY quiet interior (especially the engine / exhaust), the spectacularly FANTASTIC "magic carpet" ride (phew!, I'm running out of superlatives already) leaves my jaw dropped even today, after owning this fine creation for 12 years now. It still puts an incredible smile on my face every time I hop into it. The NAKAMICHI sound system is UNPARALLELED.

I bought my black 2000 LS 400 (the last year it was made) in 2004 with 27000 miles on the clock (a pristine 1-owner California cream puff). It was a very rare model that came with the air-suspension system.

I have about 160,000 miles on it now and the car has been UNBELIEVABLY reliable!!! The only things I've replaced are an MAF sensor, the starter and 2 air shocks (which were really expensive). But that is still remarkable for a 16 year old vehicle!

I can afford to go to the dealership and get a new LS 460 CASH if I wanted to. But sadly, it simply does not hold a candle to my car. The engine is way noisier, and the ride is un-impressively harsh compared to my car!

Drove the lexus year-round for several years. Fantastic, comfortable ride and handling. I only had issues once during a snowstorm in the winter driving up a slope and the rear wheel drive of the car slipped backwards a little, and even with winter tires. However, good reliability and decent maintenance costs, so recommended if you can find a used one in good condition.
