Kia Sportage 2011-2015Change

I purchased the sx model, simply for the awd turbo combination. Decent fuel mileage when a person is taking advantage of the added hp this unit has. Interior comfort was great, and awd performance in the Alberta winter utterly exceptional.

This is a car for low in come people, it works just fine but you need more driving skill to avoid issues.

Have had no issues with this car. Wouldn't have bought a KIA 10 years ago, but am very satisfied with this one!! Would buy another KIA product without hesitation!

This is a 'luxury' vehicle - priced well. I would highly recommend it. Comfortable ride, easy to drive, backup camera is exceptional in comparison to others I've driven. Heated steering wheel, seats, built-in child seats, no blind spots that I've noticed, just a real pleasure to drive.

Great looking vehicle compared to the 2009 Sportage we owned.Huge improvement on fuel mileage and power Interior design much better.

Loved that car, never had a problem with it. Good performance for an SUV without having to deal with high fuel consumption

This is a great SUV, it has tons of space and the 4 cylinder engine is easy on the wallet at the pumps. Great in all seasons especially Canadian winters. Command start warms up vehicle quick and air conditioning cools it down fast in the heat of summer. Warranty is amazing and has a long way to go still!

Have owned this one for a few years and it has been a fantastic reliable vehicle. No issues at all. Comes with many standard features not found on similar styles.

Very reliable car throughout, AWD is a blessing in the winter time and gives the car a sporty feeling. Fabulous good looking hip car.

Bought the 2012 Kia Sportage brand new. At 1500 km the transmission went. (yea shocked me too) It was in the shop for 2 weeks. Less than 20000 km on it and it wouldn't start. A wiring harness went. In the shop a couple days. Now at 30000 km the dash didn't light up. The cluster went. Been without car for 2 weeks now. The only good thing about it, is that its still under warranty. And the fuel economy... don't even get me started there.When it does run it runs great. Would I recommend a Kia to my friends... no!

This Suv is a great truck to drive very comfortable and reliable , and very economical on gas. It is has a lot os space, great for family traveling.

I have owned and driven Hondas, Toyotas and Mitsubishi cars in the past but when I was looking for a new car in 2011. I thought I was set to buy the Subaru Forester but after test driving the Sportage, this car just excited more than the bulletproof Forester. Initially, I thought it was a risk buying a Sportage but it has been a decision justified by excellence and reliability. The AWD system is absolutely fantastic and having driven through pretty adverse weather conditions from Canada to USA through mountain passes and unpaved back roads with conditions such as snow, ice, dirt, sand, heavy rain and high winds the Sportage proved to be outstandingly secure and fun throughout. I have never had any issue with the electronics or the mechanicals and never felt more ready to make any road trip no matter the distance. I would thoroughly recommend this car to any potential buyer. It runs on regular petrol and gives decent economy in both city and country drives. The automatic gear shifts are smooth, barely noticeable and the cabin is quiet at speeds not exceeding 100km/h where some side mirror wind noise is audible if the radio isn't switched on. Seats are very comfortable and with heated front seats the cold winters were not a bother. The ignition is great, starts always without revs and the reverse camera is a MUST because visibility and the use of mirrors and windows is a must for any driver, particularly in an SUV. The satellite radio can be a bit patchy over mountain passes and under bridges but the regular radio and CD stereo were always bang on. Servicing is affordable, on time and always friendly. The Sportage is a must try for any buyer thinking of a small SUV and it's great to see people turn and check out the car too as I drive past!

This vehicle is great on gas, great features and is very spacious.

Have been extremely satisfied with our choice.

We were looking at buying a crossover SUV, since we didn't want to pay for a full-size SUV. After looking around, the value on the Sportage was far and away the best. We received many of the optional features we were looking for at about $3 to $5K less than other crossovers.

After buying it, we have not had any problems with it in almost three years. The only issue we find is the pickup is not great, and the mileage on it could be better, but then again, we have never owned an SUV before so not sure what we were expecting. Otherwise, it handles great and there is lots of room for us and the two kids.

runs like a tractor,it is not economical, kia deceived and deceiving,I lost confidence and the customer ,in the middle of like 10 years ago, European cars,hums while driving, badly designed, loud while driving, in the middle of the worst quality plastic, none mute

With having only owned this vehicle for a short time, I'm impressed with it only being a 4 cylinder and the tremendous snap out of it. Ride is a bit choppy but it's what you would somewhat expect out of a crossover/suv.

18 months I have been driving this vehicle and I do not miss my BMW X3 one bit! The feel, the ride are at, or above par with the X3 and the fuel economy is way much better. Lastly, the actual cost of the Kia is about half of what the X3 cost me!
The only complaint I have is with respect to the interior visibility, but it seems most crosstak vehicles suffer from poor visibility.
I drive this vehicle in Montreal where the winters seem to last forever and I love the ride on snow and Ice.

Well worth the money, almost a perfect vehicle!

We went from a car to the SUV and love the Sportage, the only negative is we wish the trunk had a bit more room. Otherwise we love it!

due to the fact that kia uses cheap parts my attena isn't strong enough to carry a signal from sirius so I cannot listen to my faverite radio station

My first impression of Kia was one of low end, Korean manufactured sub par vehicle to the Germans and the Japanese.

Once I got into the Sportage and drove for about a few blocks, found myself smiling and enjoying the ride.

Having driven expensive German and Japanese cars most of my life, this car ranks right up there in every category possible, without the price tag!

If you are like me, you never would have considered owing a Kia, think again. I think I may replace my second car with a Kia Optima!

My forth and most favorite of the kia family! Living in the maritimes we need reliablity in the winter and this is great in the snow! Owned other SUV's and this was the best for milage for the money.

2012 Kia sportage is new design dynamic look economy in fuel , it has top class safety features. Mid size SUV.

The safety rating was very important to me , but when coupled with great styling and the huge warranty the Sportage blew everything else away ( except perhaps the Hyundai Tucson- which is basically the same car)
I have really enjoyed driving this car for almost 2 years.
