Jaguar XJ8 1995-2003Change

Have taken this car to the mountains on many a vacation. Best ride ever. Probably the most comfortable sports car I have owned. Only issue is, I have to pull the CD changer once a year to grease it up.

Everyone knows that older British cars have zero reliability. Same for the Jag. When it breaks down every so often, it's expensive to service. However, it is a beautiful car on the inside and the outside. The wood trim brings colour and more of a sense of luxury to the interior, and the well-crafted hood ornament and classic XJ design turn heads everywhere, especially when you're listening to the fantastic roar of a British V8. In the end, the looks and performance make up for the lack of reliability.

I've owned an '01 Jaguar for a few years now. Did not ever have any major problems with her. She rides beautifully and has been quite reliable.

Only downside is that they require Premium Fuel. (Fairly large downside in today's economy)

The car is beautiful and a chick magnet. However it gets lot of problems that are expensive to fix and can only be fixed at jaguar since it requires special tools. It also requires premimum gas and it goes through the gas quite easily. My recommendation is, if you have the money, go for it. If its something you need to save up for, its only going to cost you lots more after buying it.

Bought from Jaguar Calgary 2007 (87,357 km) when all upgrades were done including chain tensioners, tran and rad flush, new fuel pump and water pump, oxygen sensor replaced, basically all moving parts replaced or gone over to meet inspection coming into Sask.. This car is in mint condition as it is stored over winter in garage resulting in only 21,000 km over past 5 years. If you are looking for a vintage Jaguar in excellent condition then your search is over!
