Rust Prone
Excellent vehicle, but tends to rust quite badly. I owned one, and witnessed many more that were rusted quite badly. Very powerful, and comfortable.

Waaay Better Than BMW
The most reliable vehicle I've ever driven. Much, much less expensive to maintain and performs as well as BMW, etc. The size of a 5 Series BMW with the price of a base 3 Series. Still get admiring looks which is more than i can say about when I owned a BMW 320i (Bimmers are all over the place). The original Infiniti G35 are much more involving to drive than the new Q Series.

LOVE this car
I have had this car since 2003, and I have never had any serious problems with it. Very reliable source of transportation. No doubt about it, it has been a very good 10 years with this car.

Best decision I ever made
I bought my car used off autotrader a year ago and I couldn't be happier. I've always thought these cars were beautiful.

Pros:
* Despite being well over 100,000km it still runs like a dream.
* Accelerating is the best part of my day
* The design has aged so well. My car is now 10 years old but still looks amazing.

Cons:
* Takes premium fuel, making long road trips annoying
* Rear-seat space is just ok for a coupe, trunk is on the small side as well (supposedly fits two golf bags)
* One common problem in these cars is that the window motor's fail. Mine is currently broken. A minor inconvenience, probably a $300 fix if you order the parts online and get a local mechanic to do it.

Competitors in this price range (that I seriously looked at):
Audi TT
Mazda RX-8
Nissan 350Z
Acura RSX
BMW 3-series coupe

My mother ended up buying an Audi TT and I drive it whenever I get a chance. I love the styling, but it lacks the power (hers has the 1.8T I-5) and comfort of the Infiniti. The Nissan is essentially the same car as my Infiniti but I prefer the design and overall execution of this car better. I test drove the Mazda and would avoid it's rotary engine and finicky transmission at all costs. I can't speak of the last two because I couldn't find one in my price range that seemed worth it given their age or condition.

ABSOLUTE LOVE
I have had this car for about 2 years now and I love it! It is such a sexy car and the noise it makes, especially on start-up, is amazing! I haven`t had any major issues with it thus far, just small ones that the previous owner didnt care for. The interior is very nice and there is a minimal but just enough amount of space for 2 in the back. Gas does become a problem if you drive far locations. Gas tank fill-up is $85. Overall, I`m keeping the car until the end of its life because I love it.

Great overall car
Coming from a honda civic hatchback this is like a dream car. The only issues I've had with the car is the radio had a defect on the circuit board which infiniti refused to replace under warranty. The other minor issue is I've had to replace the HVAC fan 3 times...the bearing always rusts out. Overall the car drives well, is extremely quick and offers a lot of ammenities. One other thing to note, it is a gas guzzler.

Excellent confort
Amazing car, under-rated and in 2003 beat the best of the best the BMW 3 Series. Un-noticed. Power, Comfort, handling and sophistication inherited, that's what you'll get with this car, therefore it's a no-brainer, get it!.

Affordable BMW 3 series beater
In almost every way, this car beats the same year BMW 3 series. Acceleration, handling, braking, size, etc. It is an affordable reliable luxury car. The award winning engie provides lots of power and is known for its reliability. It's still a good looking car even today.

2003 Infiniti G35 Review
I have owned this car for 7 years (bought it used in 2005) and have really enjoyed owning it. There have been a couple of mechanical issues over the years but overall it has been very reliable and a pleasure to drive. I'd buy one again.

Absolutely the BEST car i have ever owned, and i have had many
I ordered this car new when they first were available in Canada. It has the M-6 sport package on it, including the 6 speed standard transmission, Brembo brakes, staggered wheels and an awesome Bose sound system.
I have had the car 10 years and nothing...like nothing ever goes wrong with it!
I used to race open wheel cars and i can tell you that the handling on this Infinity is exactly like a race car handles.
Just a brilliant vehicle....can't say enough good things about it.
And for the record, No, i don't work for Nissan or Infinity.

Terrific Car
I have owned this car for 2 years now.
Bought it used with 127,000 kms. and have had nothing but a great experience with it.
Excellent build quality and a lot of information on forums and the like to troubleshoot any concerns that have arisen.
All in all I have to give Infiniti/Nissan a full two thumbs up on this car. All subsequent years of the production of this car seem to get better and better. I have test driven everything from a 2005 G35 to a 2013 G37S and can't say one negative thing about it.

Fabulous car
This is my wife's car and it's great. It is a real driver's car. The passenger is only along for the ride, but what a ride it is. This car really does corner like it's on rails and the performance is outstanding. Even though the car is 10 years old, it's still among the best looking cars around. Overall, it's definitely a "10".

Infiniti G35
This G35 has plenty of kick in the comfort of a luxurious and safe interior. It has been nothing but good to me with minimal need to service and above average gas mileage. This car has been on many long drives to school with me and I am grateful for such an amazing vehicle. I am now changing my occupation and moving to the construction industry and it is not right to bring a luxury car to a job site. It will serve as a fantastic car for its next owner but I will definitely miss that quick acceleration.

Trim: G35 Coupe 6MT Brembo Performance Package
by Mike-oUi on 10-16-2012
Maximum style and performance at a price for just about anyone
The G35 has always been and still is a dream car for me. The styling is timeless and the performance is exquisite for a 9 year old car. The handling is superb and with the Brembo Performance package, the 4 piston callipers up front and the 2 piston callipers in the back can stop this car on a dime. The amenities are fantastic for a 2003, which include; Heated seats, dual climate control, dual power seats (with rear power assist for easy rear entry), power moonroof, one touch windows and many others. Nissan is renowned for it's reliable engines and the 3.5L V6 does not fail to disappoint. The best thing about the G35, other than the looks you get driving around downtown, is that unmistakable exhaust note that bounces off the buildings. The G35 is the kind of car that says "I mean BUSINESS! but only with Fortune 500 companies...".
