2017 Infiniti Q50

Trim: Red Sport 400
by Alima094 on 05-12-2020
Amazing car
I bought the infinti q50 red sport 400 after I test drove it for the first time. The motor is explosive. I have owned mine since it had 50km and I very recently traded it in after an amazing 100 000kms. This is an amazing vehicle. I loved every second driving it. My wife and I took it on a 10 000km road trip across Canada and everything about this perfect gt car showed. Amazing fuel economy (avg 7.8l/100km) for such a monster of an engine. Not only is the car amazing, the infiniti dealer service was surprisingly affordable and a step above, especially when you compare to any of the German brands. If you can find one that was well maintained, it is a great bargain used. I find the Infiniti brand gets a bad rep in the auto industry for some reason but when you are looking for a great all-round, good looking car, the red sport does everything very well.

2014 Infiniti Q50

love my Q!
This Q is so much better looking than the old G37. I'm glad I went this route as it will keep it's look for quite some time! Fast and reliable car. My only gripes are how slow the infotainment system loads up and how little trunk space there is when you have the spare tire option. Great otherwise!

Great car and affordable!
Had this car for 3 years and it drove really well. Only issue I had was the front control arm on the passenger side started to clunk over bumps. This is common with this car. Once i replaced the part everything was great again. Car tires wear quickly too so expect to replace them ever couple years!

Terrific value
The Infiniti M56 is a terrific car. 420HP so its very fast, one of the nicest interiors I've ever seen. Reliability is excellent and maintenance is much less expensive than the German competition.. In 35 years of car ownership it is the best vehicle I've owned

The best driving car I've ever had
The G37xS is an exceptional car! Great handling fantastic comfort and looks great!. I owned mine for the last 6 years, when I purchased it was fully loaded with the tech & sport trimline package and came with navi, paddle shifters, sport seats, adaptive cruise the Bose stereo system. I really did enjoy the features. I chose the G37xS over the BMW 335 at the time it was a tough call but I have no regrets. If you are looking at buying a G37xS I am sure you'll be happy.

Unprecedented Luxury
I have owned several high end SUV's and this is truly Luxurious SUV! Ultra smooth ride! Extremely reliable, and capable! Loaded with an abundance of safety features. This is what the Escalade is striving to achieve! A superior SUV and a barging compared to the Cadillac.I have owned a few QX's and will no doubt buy one again.

Most stylish wagon/cross-over vehicle availabe today
Like many other reviewers of this car, it is about trading the features you like with those that you don't.

it is probably one of the most stylish luxury cross-overs on the market today but what makes it so stylish(curved lines drop the back end) causes limited storage and seating for any more than a family of 4.

The 325 horsepower engine is awesome, especially for commuting but that horsepower comes at the expense of fuel economy.

Rock solid, top to bottom luxury sports coupe
My favorite car, by far. My G37XS has been a warrior on the road. It's fast despite its weight, it's reliable nearly to a fault, with a strong engine that is clocking 115,000KM so far with absolutely no signs of trouble. Change your oil more frequently than other cars and you'll be right as rain. The exterior styling is gorgeous in Pearl white, turns heads constantly even in 2017. The technology inside is showing its age now, but it still has everything you need, including built in nav. The Bose stereo system is atrocious, so I suggest a custom sound system, but that's my only gripe

New 2016 Q50 Rusting Already
My 2016 Q50 leased from Myers Nissan/Infiniti in Ottawa started rusting on the trunk and over the left tail light within 6 months of delivery. The customer service from Myers and Infiniti Canada has been terrible - have had to fight to get the rust repaired (which will be finally done 2 months after reporting the rust and after engaging the general manager and Infiniti Canada). Infiniti wants to be a luxury brand, but the reliability is questionable and the customer service, from the dealer and from Infiniti Canada, is very poor, especially in comparison to my previous experiences with BMW and Volvo. I would not recommend the brand and will not return to Infiniti once this lease expires. Suggest you look elsewhere in the very competitive luxury-entry and luxury segments.

The best ride
I bought this car and I will say I have been most impressed by the interior. Its drives so smoothly and never gave any issues.
the dashboard settings are a bit complex but I never set those on my own, I always need to remind the workshop when ever i would service the car to help me reset it..

Its a truly worry free car and every one I know that owns one always raves about it a lot. It just continues to run well. it's a very good starting point when it comes to driving really luxury cars at a very affordable price

2011 Infiniti M56x

by khfinity on 02-26-2017
Amazing performance but be careful!
I bought a 2011 Infiniti M56x 2 years ago. I absolutely love it for the performance of the engine and the interior. Unfortunately it's also come with more than enough problems. I'd owned two Nissan Altimas previously but wanted to upgrade. I travel across Ontario for my career, and have been stranded multiple times because of battery and engine problems. There is a recall on the timing chain which created cylinder misfires in the engine. In mid-January I reached out to Infiniti Canada who are no help. 5 dealerships wouldn't call me back to schedule the work. The one that has is March 6th. I've been stranded without a car since mid-January and Infiniti won't help at all. When you purchase a car of this caliber, you expect excellent customer service. I will be trading it in immediately after the recall is performed. For other reference, read Car & Drivers long term test drive..."Be careful what you wish for" is the title.

GREAT CAR WINTER ALL WHEEL DR OR SUMMER
One of the best cars I've owned - stable - fast - comfortable - safe - all wheel drive on or off - great car for summer or winter - hardly driven - down town life style !

Use the finest oil - synthetic - tires rims etc. perfect - detail shopped regularly -

Infiniti offered me the same price right now - excluding the HST rebate :

2016 Infiniti Q50

Looks Good on Paper
On paper, this Q50 Sport is a great car, less expensive and more capable than BMW 3-series or Mercedes Benz C-class. However, handing is awful, worse than any other car I have owned or driven, including SUVs!

Q50 is not new to power steering foes. 2015 has its issues with Direct Adaptive Steering. 2016 has gone to electric assisted power steering on the Sports model with the second generation DAS being an option. Being well aware of the issue with the first generation DAS, I elected to get base electric power steering.

The car, however, wanders whichever way the road takes it, which is specifically evident at highway speeds. If you hold the steering wheel perfectly straight, the vehicle starts pulling in one direction, after correcting it, it pulls in the other. We have seen number of reviews on infinitiq50.org forum about this issue, some owners indicating that Run Flat Tires (RFTs) are causing this behavior.

I don’t know for certain and I’m not willing to replace tires on the brand new vehicle. In few months I will trade it in and get something else, although at a loss.

Other than this issue and few deficiencies with the infotainment system, such as lack of useful applications and slow response, this car has been good. Acceleration is excellent, but the poor steering takes all the fun out of driving it.

2012 Infiniti G

Really love this car
I didn't like the look of the 2015 Infiniti Q 40-50, so I've bought this G37XS 2 years old with 26K on odometer for about 60% of the original price. Looking for the vehicle I've discarded the grossly overpriced and high maintenance German car. So far, I've been driving it for 2 years. The car was like new and the experience is really great. I use this car mostly alone (my wife prefers her SUV), so the rear room isn't critical. The exterior and interior are pleasing, and there is a good balance between sportiness and comfort. The car is fast, very stable and has great solid feel being well planted on the road. This is the perfect highway vehicle and I enjoy it even in heavy traffic especially its excellent stereo.
The only thing I had hard time to adjust is its 7 speed autobox. It is not smooth and it takes a while to get used to its misses to develop the right foot pressure for more or less smooth gear changes. The fuel consumption is acceptable for this engine and achieve around 11 litres driving mostly 125-135 km/hour during warmer months. The maintenance cost is at par with cheaper vehicles. Overall it is a great car.

So lovely!
Big, safe and so luxurious!! You will never drive a car without a heated steering wheel again. The seats are so supportive for long drives, the 4X4 gives you such capability in the winter, with the big 5.6 litre V8 you can tow anything you want. Its a great truck! The only real down side is she is thirsty, but totally on a par with other big vehicles. And when its this nice and safe and powerful to drive, it doesn't really matter!
