the pilot has been an amazing vehicle, well designed, versatile, sturdy, all around great ride!! the fuel mileage is good for such a hefty small SUV, it handles like a dream in our serious Canadian winter conditions. Loads of room for 8 people or for hauling whatever you need.

a two week trip from ontario through the maritimes was absolutely wonderful in this car! plenty of room for passengers and cargo, and of course, the numerous purchases on the road. made the entire trip without a hitch, and was always comfortable and safe.

Put over 250,000 kms on it and it was still running good. We decided to trade it in because we needed two vehicles. The only negative is that the fuel economy isn't great.

We had a slight scare with the transmission on this vehicle but that was all it was. The fluid was drained and refiled the problem seemed to be fixed. Gas milage is not bad for a heavy Suv as well. This vehicle is not high maintenance. It has not let me down as of yet. I would recommend it for comfort and reliability.

Maybe not as good value as the CRV and a little big for a small housewife to drive (although that doesn't seem to stop them), this beast is reliable and a work horse. Carts up to 8 people (although the back row is a little tight) and absolutely no mechanical problems other than general wear and tear. It certainly ain't pretty but it is comfortable to drive with plent of room in the first 2 rows. Kids love it. Moms like it and it works well.
