Honda Odyssey 2006Change

This vehicle has served us well. It's able to fit 4 car seats of various sizes comfortably and keep my children safe as we travel together.

amazing vehicle for hauling just about anything. would buy another one in a heart beat. great for kids or cargo. it holds alot. also very very dependable.

We bought ours new and it has been fantastic! It has hauled more kids (that 8th seat was SO handy) and more cargo (4x8 sheets of plywood, and entire tree for our backyard, ++ luggage) than I can remember. It was comfortable to drive and so reliable. Very little maintenance, no breakdowns and a pleasure to own. Pricey up front, but worth every penny in the long run.

We owned our 2006 "Mommy Van" for 11 years. The only reason we sold it was because our kids grew up and we no longer needed this type of vehicle. It has been amazing. It has run beautifully, so reliable and comfortable. Having the 8 seats has come in SO handy when we needed just "one more spot". It has hauled more cargo (including 4x8 sheets of plywood and entire tree for our backyard) more times than I can count.

It makes me sad to see it go because I know it has so much life left in it. I would HIGHLY recommend an Odyssey to anyone looking for a new "Mommy Van".

I have owned and driven ALL major manufacturers. None come close to the Honda. Maintenance was almost zero. Nothing broke down on this vehicle. Easy to drive and easy on the wallet over the long run. You pay more up front, but wow, you never think about it again.

I have had this car for 6 years and has 256000kms on it. Its very comfortable and dont feel tiredness after driving on long journeys. I would surely recommend the vehicle to anyone. Just make sure that you maintain the vehicle from your honda service center.

With 3 kids under 8yrs old, this is the perfect ride. Can't beat the cargo space and easy access. Automatic sliding doors make it easy for kids to get in and out.

Bought new. Great van with excellent performance and fuel economy. Taken good care of our family, safe and reliable. Great driver for Summer touring and through Winter snow. Even better handling with snows! Would buy another if I could fit all my kids in it! They need to come out with a nine seat version of the Odyssey. Too bad they took so long to have the Touring edition with eight seats or we would've bought that back in 2006. 18 thumbs up!

I have loved this van since we bought it, runs great, is easy to convert, great for kids car seats, plenty of cargo room, made the drives to Florida a lot easier! Only complaint is the winter handling, had to get snow tires and I it got a lot better but I still got stuck once this winter.

in this mini van, my family and i have been through alot. It has taken us to Florida and back several times over the last few years. The fuel efficienty seems to be lowering as it ages, yet it has proven to be fairly reliable. Lately we have been finding that the headlights are no longer functioning properly (switching between high and low beams), and our auto shop said that they was really nothing they could do to fix them. Overall though , i would recommend this vehicle to anyone with a family

I must say that the Honda Odyssey is a decent car. It is quite comfortable for the whole family. I would recommend this car to anyone! It is so swell

After I drove this van twice I was sold.
I had it for 2 years and I can't find better comfort, room, reliability the that.

I took it from Toronto to Atlanta, Georgia (1500km one way). Average gas consumption was 8.5L/100km. WOW...
I put on a highway 720 km on a tank of gas easily.

It worth money you pay for.

This van has great car-like performance. Strong v6 and good fuel economy. Great vehicle for long trips. Comfortable. A little noisy on the highway with wind noise and such. EX-L has active noise cancellation and is much quieter. Power doors have not failed so far over our 120000kms of ownership since new. Low maintenance.

I bought this vehicle 2nd hand from the Honda dealer. It was already 3 years old but only had 24000km. The van runs great. There seems to be enough room inside for the 3 kids and 2 dogs. The rear stow seating is nice, but I'd prefer to have middle row seats that lock into place when I unhinge the back end of them like my 1999 Pontiac Montana van used to.

I had to get the hinges on the sliding doors replaced, but I think it is because the kids were/are too hard on the door.

The only real thing that bothered me was the fact that Honda always states better fuel economy than other vehicles of the same class. However, my Extended model 1999 Pontiac Montana van with the 3.4L V6 had better gas mileage than my 2006 Honda Odyssey 3.5L V6. I was kind of shocked that was the case (due to all the marketing hype), but what can you do.

This van is solid, well worth it as it is very reliable. A couple of summer long trips, i had 7 passengers and the power was sufficient to both in the highway and a few inclines. Cheers to the honda odyssey team.

My family gets anywhere with this car. Its amazing. Touring across Canada without having any hassles with the car. The design is prettyrr good but the performance is the best part. My only complaint is that u can hear stuff in the back part of the car. I love riding in this car knowing its my own. I have had it for 6 years and no complaints i recommend people get this car so they can have the same enjoyment as me. I think that i will have this car for many years to come since it barely has any problems which i am very happy for.

Great reliable van. Love automatic opening and closing doors!! It's great to be able to remove and fold down seats. All around very reliable. Would definitely recommend this van.

Carrying 6 fully grown adults and luggage comfortably. Great for vacations and long road trips. The 6 cylinder Engine shuts down 1/2 of of it's cylinders if you aren't a lead foot on the highway which greatly increases fuel economy.

Need move/reno? Instantly fold the 3rd row down and you've got tonnes of storage space and plenty of room for 5. If you need to put a full 4x8ft board or need to move an extra long bookcase? Shove it in AND you can still shut the door!

It is pricier than the other minivans out there, but its reliable with not many issues. Competes with Sienna, but by far the nicest minivan if you need one.

The announcement of impending twins is about the only thing that would force me into a mini-van. Thankfully it turned out to be a great experience. This van has been a work horse and survived many long-distance road trips with 3 kids. The ability to reconfigure the interior quickly and easily to move between minimizing fights or maximizing cargo space is fantastic. Despite years of hard use, the van has held up extremely well and continues to be reliable and comfortable. Would highly recommend for anyone with multiple kids.
