Honda Civic 2009Change

I have owned this car four years and have only good things to say about it. It is fun to drive and looks good too. I am looking forward to owning another brand new Honda Civic.

Love my EX-L with manual trans, could use a touch more power but wouldn't want to sacrifice fuel economy. Find the leather seats too slippery to support a long drive, especially with the lack of lumbar support. Transmission is great for everyday driving, definitely not a performance enthusiasts dream. It was a tough call for me between this and the Si, but I decided to stay away from the "boy racer" car in favour of more practical and been undisappointed so far. Still really missing my '90 hatchback. All good things come to an end eventually.

Bought the civic new and have had no problems with it al all. Standard transmission makes it a dream to drive in the snow. I would recomend this car to anyone.

3rd civic thus far ive enjoyed every single one. Not big on the interior styling but i look past this and don't have any other issues. Very light on maintenance and economical.

Bought my honda civic in 2009 and so far it's been very reliable. No major issues, very comfortable ride. I drove it a lot for 2 years, then parked it and didn't drive at all. Now driving again, and no problems.

I have had this car since May.
Great little thing, I call her Paris.
Tons of leg room in all seats, and lots of space in the back seat (for passengers!)
Large trunk which is great.. I can fit 3 hockey bags!
my only complaint is it damages easy..
I have bumped a guy from behind and had 3 grand in repairs while the other guy had 0 damage.. then a week later I was bumped from behind and the exact same scenario... 2 grand, the other guy didn't even have a scratch.
I have noticed my fuel seems to decrease much faster than my boyfriends 06 Civic... (same model, different year).
Other than this it's a great car and I'll definitely be buying another in the future!

Comfortable, nice ride, very practical. Very proud to have owned this car for sometime now and will continue to do so. Highly recommended.

I purchased my car new, and so far (touch wood), I haven't had any mechanical problems with it. It drives well and is comfortable for everyday driving. (I haven't taken it for long distance drives of over 2-3 hours.) My biggest gripes are the following: 1) The A pillars can be real blind spots depending on your height and your seat position. I know many people who own the same generation with no issues, so I know it just depends on your particular configuration. 2) Leather seats are cheap and very unpleasant in extreme temperatures. I know not to expect luxury leather in a Civic, but it really looks vinyl-like to me. 3) Clock brightness is inappropriate for direct sunlight. Again, this may just be only be for me (i.e., the angle in which I look at the clock), but I have checked with my dealership and they say nothing can be done about. Overall, it's a good car but not one I would purchase again given the above issues for me.

I have had no problems with my Honda Civic. Defiantly recommend this is you want a reliable vehicle with lot maintenance. This car will last you years to come!!!

Been looking for a used vehicle and this is the one i am most pleased with. It has great fuel consumption and handles great.

This is the perfect car to use for going to work and doing the groceries shopping during weekend. Convenient, not too big not too small, just the right size and plus, it is fuel economic. This is also one of the most recommended car in car's magazine. This car is also comfortable and easy to drive so it can also be use to practice driving with your kids if you kids needs some extra lesson outside of driving school.

The civic is a reliable and affordable car for a college student. I love it so much and it makes getting home on weekends much easier.

This is my 5th Honda but my first purchased new. I really do like my Civic. You see so many of them on the road and that may be a reason not to get one or a reason to get one. My experience with it has been fantastic. For the price, you get a lot of car. The EX-L has heated seats, a great stereo and traction control. One of the things I like about Honda is I have a sence of security that the car is going to last.

I love my civic. never a bit of trouble. 120000 k and only regular maintenance so far! great on gas. 550 kilometers per tank. fillup cost approx 50.00 cad. still have not even done the breaks but will be due in the spring. the dealership where I got my car is fantastic.

This car is terrific in summer, but it really shows its value in winter, hugging the road and keeping you on track! Its wind cheating design catches the eye. Although the interior looks conventional, it is comfortable and all commands are easily accessible. The engine is bomb proof. Great legroom in the from and back, and I'm sure the interior plastics will be rattle free for the life of the car. Has heaps of trunk space and is easy to park. Good power from a small engine is what Honda is known for!

Had the DXG model civic for almost a year now.. Love the ergonomic dash and digital displays. Car is roomy for 3 adults and two kids (have not put 5 adults in it yet, but I'm sure it's spacious enough. My only serious drawback is that the car has no key-operated trunk release (on mine) and the front bumper is very low, catches speed bumps and high curb ramps.
Gas mileage on highway rocks!!! City is mediocre but still acceptable. Having gone from a 2002 Malibu to this model has not been quite the substantial change as I had expected. There is still power when I need it and it's fun to drive. Overall 7/10.

It has great handling, fuel economy, but not the best looks. If you're looking to "pick up babes", i wouldn't recommend it, but if you're struggling with cash, or just like to be efficient, GO FOR IT! I drive to school with it on a regular basis and it is easy to find a parking spot, and easy to park whether it is parallel or normal.

The Honda Civic is a comfortable and reliable car. Its is good on gas and a smooth ride. In short, I am very happy with my Honda Civic.

Aside from the cabin noise, this car is a great little car and great on gas! It has good handling, good exceleration, and just a pleasure to drive. Would recommend for any family.

I have driven a Honda civic for years now. The one I have currently is a 2009 civic. They just keep getting better! I have command start which for Canadian winters is a must and their roadside assistance is phenomenal. It's very comfortable and I feel very safe with the numberous airbags.

I've been very happy with my Civic Hybird over the past year. After travelling over halfway across canada it was a great ride, and gas was amazingly cheap!

I did have to replace the battery on it at 40k, but such things do happen form time to time. It doesn't change the fact that this is a great car!

This car is really good in reliability, exterior styling, interior design, performance and comfort. It is a really amazing brand. Cool! Also, it has a hugw feul capacity! This car is good for anyone that is not sure of what car to buy!

It terms of bang for your buck, this civic as is good of a deals as it gets. Great feul economy, easy handlind, and very reliable. Love this car.
