Honda Civic 2009Change

The only thing I do not like about this car is the lever to adjust the driver''s front seat is not convenient. It is too far back for a normal person to adjust. You have to get out of the car to make the adjustment.

i dont have trouble with this car and i am very satisfied and i dont have a problem at all. i dont have any issues with this car and i am looking forward into more models of the car so i can buy it if im more comfortable

this is a smart car..it is powerful but runs low on gas..it has a nice slick and aggressive design with a high tech dash. the ride is smooth and comfortable. i recommend this car for small family and youth.

The Honda is great but it only takes preium gas, so that is a bummer. Other then that it is a great car

New hybrid battery pack, Fully Loaded with 2 sets- winter & all season tires with rims, Winter full mats. Full extended warranty. Custom gunmetal, silver & smokey blue interiour is sexy with lots of head room. Smokey blue exterior, custom side mirrors with blinkers.

Bullet proof Honda reliability, with a super sporty chassis and the best manual transmission on the planet. Silky smooth heel and toe shifts are a snap, and the car turns on a dime with little of the typical FWD push so common to Japanese hot compacts.
Fuel is premium, but the car sips it so frugally that you won't mind, especially when the V-TEC sends the big central tack rushing from 6000 rpm to the 8500 rpm redline!

The 2009 Honda Civic, the 3rd car I've ever owned, has been nothing short of surprising. After 187,000km in 3 years this car owes me NOTHING and is still going strong. Fuel mileage is better than advertised, and mechanically has surpassed all of my expectations. Back seat room is comfortable for 2 adults and headroom all-around is great, even at 6'3" tall. I'm very satisfied with the Civic, and when it comes time to replace it I will be considering another Honda without hesitation.

It was very interesting to drive a 2009 Honda Civic after owning a 1991 Honda Civic many years ago (in fact it was the first car I ever bought). Wow - was a difference almost 20 years makes in a car. My 17 year old self loved the looks of the '91 Civic Hatchback my 30 something self really appreciates the sleek lines of the '09 incarnation of the Civic, especially with the black exterior colour. Overall I feel the Civic has grown up in terms of looks but hasn't lost what initially drew me to the car so many years ago (i.e. easy to drive & great on gas).

The interior is basic but well laid out. I drove the automatic version which shifts smoothly. I wouldn't say the performance is stellar but I think given the relatively small engine on the DX model this car would really benefit the standard transmission.The DX is the base model of the Civics so you'll need to spend a bit more to get a larger engine, sunroof and some of the other bells & whistles.

I drove this car as a rental for a month so can't speak to the long term reliability but as the owner of 2 Hondas for 5+ years each, you can't do much better than a Honda in terms of reliability and minimal maintenance costs.

If you are looking for a reliable and stylish ride I would recommend the Civic - however I'd go with the manual transmission and spend a bit more to upgrade to LX or EX models.

How can so many ppl be wrong,this car is nothing to brag about,lots of road noise,brought it back to dealer they said it was the tires,not really comfy,really cramped ,i have two small children ,there is not much room in the back seat! I always drove Fords,i will never get a Honda again,will soon be trading for a C-max! Don't feel safe driving it! Feel like a sardine in a tin can!Transmission shifts are not smooth ,really jerky and touchy!all in all never buy a honda!
