Fun and practical
This car is incredibly fun to drive, and yet still really good on gas (almost 50 mpg highway). With the snow tires, it handles really well on snow and ice too. The tunes play loud and clear, and other than oil changes and scheduled maintenance, this thing runs like a top.

The Honda Civic is a wonderful car that is extremely fuel efficient and has a comfortable design. Although one could say that the exterior and interior design isnt lacking too much, it could be improved to look better

Best Japan Car
I am using it from 2011. I purchased in 2011 from first user. Its very good. It didn't give me trouble any time. In terms of performance and fuel consumption its very good.

I am very happy with this car. Even If I change car in future I go for only Japan made car. i.e Honda.

I was using it in India as well it was so comfortable

Incredible car!
I currently own one of these and let me tell you that this tiny little I4 cylinder engine is simply amazing! Although it lacks torque but its weight and power will suffice. Its really comfortable, after all this is the civics top of the line model. Fuel economy is alright, I mean it really depends on how your drive and how far you drive. Interior its pretty stylish in its class. Exterior looks sporty whether its a 4 door sedan or a 2 door coupe. Last but not least Hondas are VERY reliable.

Honda Civic
one of best selling car in canada, I purchased mine used back in 2010 when it had around 30K mileage, I use to love driving my civic. It handled well and is suppose to be a safe car. Well at 90K miles now, this Car still looks and feels new, no rattles, noting falling off. With the manual I can get all the power I need

I had a 2008 Civic Si Coupe for four years.
During that ownership the car only required basic maintenance such as oil changes, brakes, and other basic fluid changes. No other major repair was required.
Car was very enjoyable to drive and it was also getting the advertised fuel economy.
Only down side is that the car makes a few creaking noises in the interior when the weather is cold.
I forgot to mention that I had to have my radio unit replaced as the radio display would not turn on. But that was well covered by warranty without any hassle.
All in all, car was a very reliable daily driver with an exciting driving experience. Everyone would agree that VTEC crossover sound is very addicting.

It's a great ride!
the car has average mileage for its age. Car has very few exterior flaws. May have a few small defects in paint — small dings or scratches
but the appearance is so cool, like it , the interior is OK.
It's economical.Only maintenance have needed to do is oil changes and air filters. The gas mileage is excellent. Tires replaced every 2 years. Never have had an issue.
it is completely practical for me. the perfect size to hall around large paintings or camping supplies.
It's powerful and easy to control it.

it's comfortable to sit in it, there is no much noise

Only Honda worth owning!
I purchased this car in 2009 with 20k, so far the car has 89k and all I have done is my basic oil changes. No problems yet. Body and paint are still great, I do think the interior felt cheap. Seats fade where your legs rest. along with the arm rest. other than that its a blast to drive. easy to mod if that's your thing. and it gets about 475km per 44L of 91 v power. but Ive got a heavy foot! You wont be disappointed, If your looking for a car to mod and make power buy a WRX or EVO.

Honda Civic
The 2008 Honda Civic four-door lineup includes a base model, an Si, a Hybrid, and a natural-gas GX. The base Civic sedan uses a gas-powered 140-horsepower, 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine. Either a five-speed manual or a five-speed automatic can be teamed to the frugal four, which rates from 26/34 mpg with a manual gearbox to 25/36 mpg with an automatic. The engine's willing and eager, with a touch of thrummy noise as it winds toward redline. The automatic is fine, but Honda's known for light, quick-shifting manuals, and this one's no exception.
Moving up the horsepower charts, the Civic Si sedan gets its kick from a 197-hp, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. A limited-slip differential is standard. The Si models feature tweaked suspensions with 17-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, and Si badges, along with synthetic suede seats. The Mugen Si sedan carries an even tauter suspension and 18-inch wheels, with more body add-ons and a sport exhaust system. This is the powertrain of choice if you want to be entertained--it loves to zip to redline.

Can't beat a Honda
On the mechanical side, the 1.8L SOHC i-VTEC engine is a very smooth compact unit. Making 140hp, it doesn't offer neck breaking race car like performance that so many younger Civic owners think they drive. Yet, the performance of the i-VTEC is all in the low range. Off the line, the car is peppy and quick. It will gladly run up to the near 7000rpm redline through the gears. My car, equipped with a 5 speed manual has a perfectly weighted clutch with just the right feel to it. The gearshift action is smooth, in a crisp notchy way. You know what gear you're in. My only gripe is the factory shift knob, which I beleive is too bulbous and bulky, making the shift feeling slightly awkward. A smaller aftermarket knob, or a Civic SI knob will remedy this issue. 4 wheel disc brakes with ABS and Electronic Distribution stop the car well in all situations. The ride in the coupe is a little stiff and choppy on bumpy side streets and city surfaces, however provides a comfortable and compliant ride on the highway. Roadholding and handling is above average, with a very surefooted stance. Enthusiastic drivers will only be held back by tire choice.

Overall, Honda hit the Civic out of the ballpark with the 8th gen Civic. It was so hard to improve on, that they failed in 2012 when trying to make something fantastic, better.

Perfectly smooth vehicle.
This is my first car in Canada. I have been driving it since December 2010. Love the drive. Incredibly good pick from 0 to 60Kmph in 6secs..... Literally!
Great fuel economy. 400-450 in city and 700-750 on a full tank.
Love the grey color and interiors. Take a test drive and you'll see what I am talking about!
